I'm going to DVR the game that will be on Gol TV in the United States since the Israeli national team is rarely or never on TV here. Both somebody in the TV, Satellite & Radio forum and Gol TV's website say the game is on live at 11:30 P.M. United States Eastern Time but www.flashscore.com says the game will start 4 hours before then.

    Thanks for the info man!

I haven't watched an Israel game for around three years without a live stream.

I just checked and GolTv will be showing it at 11:30 PM as you stated. This will definitely be an interesting game and I cannot wait to see Fernandez's influence!

Now somebody reported in the TV, Satellite & Radio forum that the game will be shown at 10:00 P.M., not 11:30. Gol TV changed their website and also changed the game from being listed as Live (at a time when it wasn't live) to Premiere.

Im pretty sure that time of 10 pm or 11:30 is a tape delay, atdhe.net says the game will start at 7:30, so I assume that it will just be on Gol TV on tape delay. Look forward to seeing what some of the fringe israel players can do, as well as the announcers having trouble pronouncing all their names.

Hey guys, Im Uruguayan and Jewish.

Hard to watch this game. With the WC approaching, I had to root for Uruguay since the WC is approaching, but Israel showed that they had some great players and plays some great football. The goalie was incredible. Score would've been higher had it not been for him.
What are your opinions on Uruguay?
Looking forward to watching Israel vs Chile

Good team but Uruguay always produces great players and puts up a good game no matter who they play. Israeli's usually cheer for Uruguay, not sure if the UN vote in 47 had anything to do with it....lol....but I love uruguay and wish them the best in the mundial.

Israel was pissssspoooor today. No Yossi Benayoun (cpt) no Tal Ben Haim (best defender), had effect but it was much more.

I'm sure Fernandez is trying to see all his youngsters play to figure out who he will play. however, What do you expect when you play 18yr olds who never played for the national team and it's the managers first game against a well organized team which qualified for the WC?

square 1.......good place to be or not ?

I had no idea that he only played youth, did Gai Assulin and or Ben Sahar play?

All I know is that I saw the score and wanted to sack him. So lets see how he does with all of the players in a qualifier, then we will decide his fate. Israel NEEDS a good coach, for our people and all that we have sacrificed to merely be represented in UEFA we have the right to go all the way and show the world what we can do.

Listen - he played attacking football with pretty much a youth team... This is the kind of coach we've all asked for and now we finally have it.

I watched it live online and connected the laptop to the tv and I can tell you that for about 15 - 20 mins in the 2nd half, Israel dominated play with their youth side against a WC bound team which a lot of people are saying can go pretty far...

Rafaelov played very well and caused some problems for the Uruguayan defense and of course even scored...

4 - 1 scoreline was not justified. Obviously we can't expect to win such a game as Uruguay is the better side but 4 -1 didn't represent reality. The last 2 goals were the result of pure lack of concentration in the Israeli defense and you can see Ben Haim was missed.

On Sunday we'll have another friendly against Chile and I can guarantee that based on his performance last night, Rafaelov will be starting again.

After hearing this, now I like this guy, BUT did he cap Gai Assulin, we need to do that before Spain does.

I like Israel being Jewish and had alot of friends in the Israeli side of the stadium, but the score wasn't justified because Uruguay should've won by a lot more. Your goalie had a bunch of incredible saves, and we missed a ton of easy goals.

And on Israel's only chance, you guys(we) scored. And Israel never dominated. Not even for 5 minutes. I liked the style of play though.

I wasn't home last night, so I recorded the game and just watched it.

Extremely sloppy game by us. the defense was practically non-existant. Klemi Saban had the best performance (in defense), especially with the assist. The others, notably Yoav Ziv, were misplacing passes and lacked any stability.

The midfield was also disappointing. Rafaelov stood out, obviously, but still was dribbling no where many times because of the lack of movement of the forwards. Vermouth was extremely sloppy and the other midfielders isnt worth mentioning.

All the forwards had no impact. Colautti was weak, Ben Sahar was not fed the ball and therefore couldn't demonstrate anything (or maybe cause he sat on the bench all season at Espanyol). When Arbeitman came on I had a little hope because he bagged 28 goals in Ligat Haal. But he couldnt even control a beautiful cross, whcih if he did he coudlve easily scored.

It is a fact that Benayoun, Ben Haim, and Tamir Cohen (I know you guys dont like him but he's better than most of our other guys) didnt play today and they couldve changed the game. Also Fernandez is still getting used to the team and he's experimenting. I was happy with Aoute, he's world class, and I'll say top 10 goalkeepers in the world. Let's hope for MUCH improvement on Sunday.

Well I agree on some of what you said but honestly, ,,,Gil Vermouth and Dudu Aouate played the best (in exception to rafelovs goal).

TRUST ME, Tamir Cohen ISN'T BETTER THAN MOST OF OUR PLAYERS. He sucks and contributed NOTHING so far. He sucks. I wouldnt put him on the team if his life depended on it.

Ben Sahar was non existant, look how others here weren't even sure he played. Poor kid couldn't do a thing.

However your right about the passing sooo poor. Ziv didn't have a good game. He's such a good player it hurt to see this kid loose confidence in this game.

Have you watched a single Bolton game last season? Tamir Cohen is at his peak right now. It is true he gave away a lot of silly fouls in the past, however I believe he's is a key to our midfield for Euro 2012 qualifications.

Vermouth had a poor game against Uruguay, I strongly do not believe he was one of the best players, but I know the potential he has.

Gai Assulin was already capped for the national team and broke Ben Sahar's record of being the youngest player to represent the senior national team.

    From Wikipedia:

    International career

Gai was called up by the Israel national football team for their friendly match against Chile in 2008. He debuted for Israel by replacing Yossi Benayoun in the 78th minute of the friendly, 14 days before his 17th birthday.[13] By playing in this match, he broke Ben Sahar's record for youngest national team debut by 195 days.[14] He was the youngest ever player to play in the national team and represents the U21 team.
