Ha ha.... i may not have been a fan as long as some of you but to be honest i became a fan because of da lima ronaldo back in 02 - I have been reading this forum since 06 and officialy joined up apr 09 before kaka and company were on board - nice try, but i am not here because of florentino's mega spending (recent)

What do we discuss continuously on this forum THIS PROJECT, how well the players a coping, what changes need to be made, performance, weaknesses etc. Its a big project moderator guy, but the reason you i am getting on your nerve isn't because of the discussion projects, its because I am vehemently against mourinho hiring, and if it pisses you off so much then cry me river :p

I guess pelligrini was lying then when he said 80-85% of the fans support him.

Or that first poll marca took that showed almost 80% supporting him.

(the poll on bigsoccer also reflected the same sentiment)

    Complain to them...

Just thought I'd come in and mention that this is a project.

I'm sure you don't need further explanation, just rest easy in the knowledge that it is indeed a project, and not a football club like those other plebs seem to suggest, this is a project, a mighty long term project, and if you aren't one of the 80% that are for it, then I think you should leave.

    Go on.

I feel yah. Sorry guys, but I could see that happening around mid-season if Mourinho doesn't open up his tactics a bit. In his early Chelsea days, where people say he played "the most attacking", he would usually substitute an attacker for a defensive player when he was up 1-0 mid 2nd half, even at home. That would amount to Jose putting his head on the chopping block in the Bernabeau. The crowd loves to see ruthlessness in attack with 5-0's and the like.

I really hopes he proves otherwise.

It is desperate, a similar situation to when we signed Capello. But honestly, its been two years without a trophy so we are in a desperate position.

To go trophyless for just one season is unacceptable at this club but three is a catastrophe. On top of that allowing Barca to win a third straight will make it that much harder to recover the next season. I don't know about you guys but I'll put up with Mourinho's antics and perhaps a more pragmatic approach to some games if it stops that.

No, because you're dominating the conversation refusing to listen or even mull over what other posters are saying. I'll say it again, we disagree with one another all the time here but we're able to discuss and put across our points without annoying the heck out of one another. Look at the last couple of pages in many of these threads they're littered with your responses and worst of all they're all saying the same thing. I appreciate your "willingness" to lay down your eight years of being a RM fan on the line for a philosophy you have yet to define or better yet have concocted to communicate your personal beliefs but be warned you're starting to sound like a troll and if you keep you continue pretty soon your "voice of the martys" will be silenced completely here at BS. And if you've been here as long as you say you should know that already, really. I don't think it's your intent to come across as an a**hole (maybe it is though) and I'm sure you have something meaningful to contribute other than anti-Mourinho vitrol but no one is going to listen until you learn to play nicely with others and tone down your comments and at least show a willingness to listen instead of just typing out these walls of repetitive text.

Or we trash The 2-18 La Liga teams 5-0 at home and away and the fans are happy, till we end up losing in the 16th round of CL again and lose the title to Barca, then the happiness is gone.

This team needs some discipline and a better defensive game rather then just attacking. I am tired of losing to some teams who "always" defend against us and end up knocking us out of the CL. Many teams won't be able to even attack us, but at least we won't be vulnerable in the back as we were in the previous years.

As for the Bernabeu clowns, they can fck off for all i care. They should've supported Pellegrini more when he was being crucified against Marca if they didn't want another coach.

    Hey guys. Just a thought.

Should the club still consider using the term project?

It seems our "projects" never last more than a year and is scrapped for another "project".

Cause I don't really consider it a project if it only lasts that long. It's more like an overnight homework or something. :p

What's annoying is that the Benabeau faithful seems to have the power to pressure the management to sack managers, players, etc. but seem almost helpless, indifferent at a point when saving players, managers, etc.

    Just my 2 cents.

I believe that we must have faith in Mourinho, even if we won't win anything next year.

He is a fantastic coach (the best in our days) and it's sure that he wil succeed, if Perez give him the opportunity and the time to do whatever he wants.

Sorry dude. But we say that every year with the new coach & RM sacks them after. I don't see that happening with Perez in charge.

Mourinho is a jerk no doubt about it and although that is one of the cons of him coming here its also a pro. His obnoxious behavior and comments or mind games as some people call it may well be the crucial factor that causes Barca to drop points.

Pellegreni is a class act and never resorted to those tactics and I'm not saying he was wrong. He and Mourinho have totally different personalities and thats fine.

But if the title race is as tight as it was this year and we need Barca to drop points it may be better to have Mourinho out there playing his mind games trying to influence their result. Not to mention he's proven from the CL that he knows which buttons to push to get under their skin.

This has been one of those myths someone started when they were losing a conversation a few weeks back - "you don't listen" - and has since become wide propaganda.

For every response i make, i ensure to note the exact sentences that i am addressing. I always make that a point(like i am doing now and in our recent exchange yesterday). So this notion that I don't listen is unfounded and comes from posters that refuse to or aren't able find strong arguments when they engage in a debate.

I sometimes use 3-4 responses to address individual points in what another poster said, and yet u say i don't mull over. I listen and mull, but being direct and relentless with addressing arguments shouldn't be so feared in a thread filled with madrid supporters,... instead what i have encountered on this forum is that posters who can't fight a verbal battle always resort to name calling.

That is the problem, why get annoyed if you can counter with a clever argument.

If you are confident in your stance and have valid points to back it up then why get annoyed. Simply present your case, defend your case and let the chips fall where they may win, lose or draw.
