I too was sad to see AGF go down. I hope you can be persuaded to keep the thread up next year anyway -- I've grown addicted to it.

Thanks for all your hard work, and here's hoping for a quick return for AGF.

Good to see Yura contributing quickly. He's definitely had a good year; won MLS Cup and made a positive impact with his new club.

I know the SAS-ligaen season is over, but does anyone know of a website that has the game summaries from both it and the 1st Division? What I mean is, not just the goal scorers, but also the lineups, subs, times of substitutions and cards. I've looked at onside.dk, bold.dk and sporten.dk and haven't found them, although my Danish is horrible so perhaps I just missed them there.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

Kerzhakov, yes, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for that link.

Does anyone know where I can find similar information for the 1st Division? The site that Kerzhakov noted only has stats for a handful of 1st Division games.

    Superliga 2009/10, round 33 (of 33) :

Better late than never, computer problems and a relegation to AGF has greatly delayed my report... The 33 and final round of this season was mainly about the last relegation spot and the Bronze medals, so the match in Randers could infact have settled it all, if Brøndby beat Randers... Brøndby did their part of the job, but since AGF failed to beat OB Odense, losing yet another home match, it was Randers that in the end escapde relegation. So an absolutely unbelivable finish to the crazy relegation battle this season, with AGF in the end being relegated despite collecting 38 points in 33 games, which is unprecedented in the history of the Danish Superliga. Normally an average 1 point a game would be more than enough to escape relegation, but not this season. Randers only managed to collect 8 point in their first games this season, but managed an unbelivable finish by collecting 32 points in the last 15 games after the winter break. So the mission impossible, showed to be possible after all and congrats to a Randers team that also has been awarded a Fair Play spot in the Europa League... Another interesting fact is, that a club with 3 WC players in the team now suffer relegation from the danish league, which also has never happened before, so it's safe to say that AGF has been managed scandalously poorly this season, considereing that they have been able to field 6 different NT players, 1 Danish League NT player and 2 Danish U21 NT players this season. So it was no surprise when AGF head coach Erik Rasmussen was fired this week. Since this will no doubt be remembered as the the most poorly managed season ever at AGF Aarhus.

While AGF no doubt are going to sell 2-3 of their NT players after the WC, Silkeborg on the other hand reinforced their team this week, by signing a 2-year contract with the 29-yo left defender/midfielder Jesper Mikkelsen, who join the club on a free transfer from French Ligue 2 side Troyes AC.

How has Bryan Oviedo performed with FC Copenhagen so far? I know he has played a few matches as a sub and was not loaned to the Costa Rican NT for their friendly's against France, Switzerland, and Slovakia (A lot of our fans are upset because he has always played great with our NT).

Is he expected to start or get more minutes next season? Will he be playing LB or LM because of his offensive skills?

He was brought on as a substitute in the last 3 matches, where the champiosnhip was already secured.
20 minutes against HB Køge as a (very offensive) left back.
20 minutes against Silkeborg as a left midfielder
20 minutes against Sønderjyske. He replaced the left back , but in reality he played more like a left midfielder and then Grønkjær took over at left back.

He has done okay with his upsides in the offensive part. He has made some very risky moves in the defence. Tricks etc, but i think FCK is going to teach him not to do that.

    Quote from Ståle Solbakken(FCK-manager)
"There is still missing a lot. Oviedo is a type, who really needs a lot of coaching, because he's used to play in a 3-5-2 as a wingback instead of the 4-4-2(Which is the system FCK plays). At first it was really difficult because he didn't speak a word english, but he has gotten a better understanding for things in the last few months. He has played 6-7 games on the reserve team, so he's getting better. Now he only makes two step-overs before every drible in stead of the four, he used to do.

    Quote from Bård Wiggen(Assistant manager)
HE has made big progesses in training, but he's still quite unschooled tactically. He is very good one-on-one, espiacally in offense but okay in defense as well. He has quick feets, but still has a while to go when talking about positioning. IF he learns that, he could be good. A modern player. He's quick, small, great with the ball and great offensively. He still has a job to do regarding his defensive skills. He's probablt used to play a different kind of football.

Me speaking again now: He is probably going to be brought forward bit by bit. Oscar Wendt(current LB) is probably being sold this summer, but a replacement is surely being brought in. They might try to pull in a quite old player, who can play for a year or two and let Oviedo get more and more playtime. I still thinks he's going to be used as a left back, unless they relly give up on his defensive skills.
