Have you been to the HDC before?

If not, welcome and I hope you like it.

Don't be a stranger. LAG should be YOUR team when they are not playing against Boca!! We need more Argentine passion in our fans!

No, it would be my first time at HDC. For some reason -life being busy and all- I've never made it there yet.

Of course I cannot possibly miss Boca coming to LA. Should be awesome!

Thanks for the invite. Once I figure out how to get there, I'll probably be back.

Where are you coming from? Driving or trying to do it on public transit?

    FYI:
The seats in 118, $20ea. plus fees and shipping come out to just over $26ea. from ticket master (a bit less from me:D) are a killer value! Regular price on these is $50ea. $38ea. for groups plus shipping and fees. Drop me an email if you want some.

I'm driving up from Tustin, up the 5 to the 91. Now that I look it up, it's not really that far. I thought it was farther away.

We got tickets for section 117. Should be fun!

I'm checking Ebay to see what these tickets are going for, and if early returns are any indication, I'd much rather have some EPL team so I could get those "poser EPL fans" to bid their real-life money on my tix. I know about Boca's history and huge name, but so far they appear to be a mediocre draw.

I used to live there, it's not far at all. About a half hour, normally less. I'm a fan of taking the 405 straight up, or when I lived in Tustin.. the 22 to the 405. But either way works. Have fun!

Maybe we will see him playing for us!
I recommended we get him as our DP when he was available from Villareal after being benched by the idiot Pelligrini (who has gone one to win exactly nothing since, I believe, including with $250 million worth of galacticos at his disposal).
But obviously we weren't going to win out over Boca then.
But with Becks out for the season and Riquelme available on a free...
Wow. Riquelme with Landon and Buddle... I might die of sheer exultation.

We would need only one forward with a midfield of Donovan, Riquelme, and Beckham.

I was thinking Riquelme as a replacement for Beckham.

Now it looks like Riquelme will have knee surgery and will be out for 45 days, so he won't come on the tour, even if he stays at Boca.

Martin Palermo is expected to be in Maradona's list of 30, so he probably will not come either. In addition, Gary Medel is in Chile's list and Claudio Morel Rodriguez is in Paraguay's list, so they will not be coming.

That sucks, but on the bright side, we might get to see the next Riquelme or Tevez in action.

Yup. And we will be without Beckham, Donovan or Buddle - which also sucks. But I'm still going in full support of LAG. :D

Very glad to have Argentine fans coming to the HDC - hope you show up in numbers, hope you like the stadium, and hope you start coming regularly. LAG can use all the passionate fan support it can get!

this should be a very fun game. i'm bringing a buddy of mine who is a huge Boca fan, we'll be sitting in the Boca supporters section. i expect their fans will bring an exciting atmosphere and not be too hostile to me in my Galaxy colors. :D

Super bummed I'm gonna miss this game.
I have already exchanged my tickets, but I do have a parking pass for this game. First one to PM me gets it for free...preferably somebody who is exited about this game.

Any new on whether this match will be on TV?

Also, can we really expect a decent crowd for this with all the players missing? Last time we played a South American team was against Sao Paulo with an announced attendance of 9k, and even less being at the stadium...

With all due respect to our sister team, Sau Paulo, they do not have the world-wide following that Boca does.

Even so, 15K would be optimistic. That, btw, is simply a guess.

My rep told me if I was going to get any extra tickets to get them soon, because she was almost out in the GA section. If that means anything?
