Does anybody know where you could get these jersey's. All I see are the replica jersey's. I want the away jersey with the stars above the crest, America flag on the sleeve and the Chicago Municipal flag on the side. Nothing at TOYOTA Park and nothing in MLSGear.com.
Chicago Soccer may have some. If not, call Candice with the Fire because she still has a few. More are coming in at the end of the month. Allegedly.
Chicago Soccer Stocks them at the stadium they should now have both home and away in stock. I was at the store a few days ago and asked about it, so the timing of your question is spot on since I also want the away jeresy with the flag on the lower side.
Do you know how much, there selling the replica's for $85, that kind of steep for replica's. MLSgear are selling the same jersey's for $70, if you add a name and number that would $110 for a replica jersey.
The official Away kit was originally $110. Then they came out with that new design they all wear now and that was listed at $130. Either of those are way more expensive than any European kit which averages $70. I don't know why MLS/Adidas is doing the Replica/Authentic BS that complanies do in the NHL and the rest of the leagues, but it's crap.
I know that if you buy the jersey online from the store it's $62 and a few coins and I think it's $70 if you buy in the store but give them a call to confirm and I have no idea why they would be more on the floor. Why they're $85 at the stadium is beyond me since suggested retail is $70. Could be a stadium surcharge or they just included sales tax but that's like a 20% sales tax, so I'd ask someone at the stadium.
News for ya $150 is what they're charging for the European version of that jersey (kits include socks and shorts, so a kit would be damn nearly $200) assuming it's available this fall. MLS clubs are the first clubs to wear the new Adidas Techfit jerseys. The full blow out will appear in this summer's World Cup and not only is the average price $150 but they will be limited edition in North America. Hell, some teams you technically won't be able to buy in North America, emphasis on technically because I know better. It's pure madness and won't stop til enough of us refuse to drop the coin on the jerseys. It's why you have a booming knock off business in Asia.
Well the eBay market, what i figure, have the real deal. They're just blemished, like an XL that fits like a Large or small smudges on the heatpress. It doesn't seem to affect the prices after 5 years though and Nike/Adidas don't seem to mind their "employees" are making money off these blems.
Well I went to the Chicago Soccer store at TOYOTA Park looking for the authentic white jersey. They said the addidas isn't going to making them available to the public (team only). They had two red long sleeves jerseys (yeah 2), both of them were medium and they wanted $125 for them (that's with NO name and number), are they ********IN crazy $125.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZmBUF9nbb0"]YouTube- Sounders FC reveal new Electric jerseys[/ame] You will note in that video a few things that set Seattle apart from our mess of an operation: 1 - unveiled at a store 2- there are RACKS of them in the background available for purchase. 3- There are tons of both of their current home and away jerseys available to purchase, right there, on hand, you could walk right up with cash or credit and walk out of the store with one, what an amazing concept. The Chicago Fire unveiled their new jerseys at a Cubs bar during weekday working hours and neither were available to purchase. Now it is months later and this die hard Fire nut with CASH IN HAND can not buy the away shirt that was unveiled.
I hate giving other MLS teams their due, but yeah....by comparison...what the hell Fire!! On an unrelated note, it's nice to see an MLS club taken seriously by the local news.
yeah...that's kinda the point. The comments are in regard to the 3rd shirt unveiling video. I suppose I could have written "There are ALSO tons of both of their current home and away jerseys available to purchase" .
