Now I have both matches 53 and 58 where my ticket, as applicant, has sold but my three guests are listed as "tickets to resale". And Match 58 is sold out. Go figure.

yikes thats a bit troubling, i can only assume somehow they allocated the ticket to a person buying 1 ticket?

Hi Guys - I have been trying to get info regarding the re-sale of TST tickets -
FIFA will not reply to my emails, so I rang them, the lady just said, there is no information regarding TST tickets - Is there anyone in the know that can tell me what the hell is going on. This is criminal!

    You're not alone, Ned10!
There are a lot of people on here with TST's to sell, and nobody can seem to get any information at all from FIFA about how the process will happen.
I have sent many emails, and made many phone calls, but still no conclusive information about how the process works.
There has been one confirmed sale of a TST on here (GB1204 sold a TST-7 Cat-2 for South Korea), but this is the only one I have found on all of the forums that has resold.
This is very worrying news, and the total of prepaid ticket money must be running into Millions of USD that nobody can recoup.

I will keep hunting for information, and hopefully between us all we can find some solid information.

I don't see a way to even purchase a TST now. I assume they can only be sold on a match by match basis.

The reality is that there are still loads of tickets available and anyone who gets a resale is lucky rather then counting on the money.

I'm looking at a loss of over $1,000 on unsold tickets. It's not looking good.

    Make that $2000 for me.

Does anyone know whether it might still be possible to backcharge a Visa transaction? Mine was over 6 months ago though.

I doubt it as presumably you did buy the tickets and have been allocated them.

That doesn't matter, with your credit card you can reverse any charges you want. You just have to contact the bank. I'm pretty sure there is a time limit though.
If I can still do it, I just might. If they're not doing anything for me, why should they have my money?

    Hi guys,
Looks like I'm the only lucky guy who managed to sell TSTs...
I had a few applications with TSTs. I didn't want to get that many but I applied under different names and I won too many.
Anyway, one application is completely sold (4 Tix), while in another one, one of tickets is sold.
I have no idea what 'sold' means.
I called and didn't get a straight answer.
I have no idea if sold means that all 3 first round tickets were sold or just at least one.
It's certain that they cannot sell the other tickets as they don't know yet the path of that team.
Anyway I'm sure that these tickets will be sold, especially since they will likely follow Argentina. Since cost of first round games is not much, I'm more relaxed, and hope I'll get most if not all of the money back.

    Been there, tried that.
I am based in the UK and purchased through Barclaycard. I rang up back in April last year as soon as I found out I got the tickets. I asked if it was possible to cancel the transaction and was told that it is not possible. The money had been taken, and as far as they were concerned the goods had been delivered (even though no tickets had yet been made available). As the FIFA T&C's say sale is final and non-refundable, Barclaycard also used this as a reason to not refund.
I then called again, trying to make out that the card was stolen and used without authorisation (a long-shot, I know!), so they cancelled the card and sent insurance claim papers through!
So the moral of the story is we are stuck with the payment on the card.

I think it's good news that at least one of us has been able to offload their TST (any chance of a screenshot of the SOLD, GB1204?).
I again called FIFA today (I'm desperate to get my $2500 back!), and the guy told me that TST's will only be bought by FIFA, and not the general public. I'm not entirely sure what this means, and I couldn't get him to articulate his point any better. He kept saying "if they get sold, you get your money back", but he couldn't tell me how this actually takes place. It is clearly possible that they can sell given GB1204's positive outcome. I think we just need to keep the faith that they will eventually go to a buyer.
I have set up another thread specifically for TST resales, that can sit away from the single ticket info:
    https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=20633030#post20633030
Hopefully between us we can get to the bottom of how this process works. Add your sucess stories if your own TST gets sold.

    Help me please!!

I cannot put my ticket on resale status...what do I making wrong?
The problem is that I don't speak english and I bought 4 wheelchair tickets because were the cheapest...please don't laugh!
Now of course I'm trying to give them back, but I don't know how:
    1) I go to buy ticket page and compare my tickets
    2) I click on "sell tickets" button and I go to the page "for those seeking to sell tickets"
    3) I accept the terms and click on "continue" and I go to a page with the list of my tickets - category (W) - amount (400 USD)- status (empty)
    4) I click on "next" and I go to a "Operations" page in which they explain other sale terms and I check a box below to confirm and click on "save" and I go to a page written:

    Operations
"Tickets put to resale will be sold on a First-Come-First-Served basis, and they can resold up to 3 days before the start of the match. You can monitor the resale status online by clicking on "Summary"

    5) Then if I go back to MY tickets page there is still nothing under STATUS and if I go to "Summary" page compare again the previous page:

    Operations
Tickets put to resale will be sold on a First-Come-First-Served basis, and they can resold up to 3 days before the start of the match. You can monitor the resale status online by clicking on "Summary"

DO YOU KNOW WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
If you can help me please!

    Re: Help me please!!

it means that you have done everything correct and that your tickets are up for re-sale.... For some reason whenever you go check if they are re-sold it makes you go through the whole process again.

    Re: Help me please!!

On this list do you have two columns of blue buttons? If you do, you use the left column of buttons to sell the tickets. Once you've done that the buttons say "Recover" so you can change your mind, like this...

It's the strangest thing. My 4 tickets to NED-DEN (Match 9) CAT 3 are no longer "Sold".

Clearly the purchaser had issues with their card or some shit. WTF!!! Now I gotta sit around and hope they are sold AGAIN!

Count yourself lucky Shaun, I still got these to offload:

    2 x Holland v Denmark Cat 2
    2 x Argentina v Korea Cat 2
    2 x New Zealand v Slovakia Cat 3
    2 x England v USA Cat 3
    2 x Germany v Australia Cat 1
    2 x South Africa v Mexico Cat 1
    2 x Durban Semi Cat 1

Put them all up on 16th April and still none have sold! Despite availability coming and going over the last few days.

Your tickets for the USA/england game don't show up. Did you already sell them?

OK, so how would I buy them from you? Or is this only for SA citizens?
I went to the FIFA website and went to the page that show tickets available. It shows US/England game as unavialble (orange square).

Ticket buying/selling is illegal on these forums.

I meant buying it through FIFA from you.

    From the FIFA website:

When will my Tickets be resold?
No resales will be made until the original inventory of Tickets in a particular category for a specific Match (or TST Ticket product) have already sold-out once. Tickets submitted for resale will be placed in an inventory pool of available Tickets. Tickets will be resold based on actual demand by match and Ticket category. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR TICKETS WILL BE RESOLD.

So if they don't show up, does that mean the US/England game didn't sell out? I find that hard to believe.
