Colorado can be scary at times, but this is our game. Our defense is superb and with Donovan and Buddle is the mix, LA will get the win. I don't know about a shut-out, but we'll get the win.
Away with thee! Your Snark isn't appreciated. I dunno, for whatever reason, Colorado always seems to give us trouble. Then again, with the exception of the last half of last year, everyone has given us trouble over the last few years. For whatever reason, I want to crush Colorado into the ground like no one else. I'm expecting The Donovuddle express to be clicking on all cylinders even more this week. Donovan gets his first goal, Buddle gets an assist on a goal from Juninho. 2-1
I'll be content if we get one point out of these two game. Don't know which team will beat us, but we will lose our first game. (I hope I'm wrong as ****)
I don't know what it is, but I'm thinking the Colorado game is going to be the tougher of the next two games. If we could come out with a tie in Colorado and a win in Seattle, that would be awesome. But I'm nervous about this.
If we stick with our same lineup from last game I think we will be fine. Colorado is good, but our team defense is better than good. I expect us to shut them out or give up a single goal at worst. With Donovan in a more central role and Buddle and Gordan winning the long high balls we should get numerous offensive chances. Colo is also vulnerable on set pieces where we should excel given our height and LD's service. So we have a good chance of scoring 1 or more goals which should be enough for the win. If we are unlucky on offense (hit post, great gk saves, etc.) Colorado may salvage a tie. But that is the best outcome they can expect.
At that altitude, I sort of expect Ricketts' punts to end up in the nosebleed section behind CRapids goal.
What's wrong with you? Have some faith. No one is stopping Buddle now. I think he'll be eager to put on some icing to that sweet gala invitation.
that said, two road games that close together is a real challenge. if we get 2 points or better, i don't think we'll have done poorly (provided we don't play like absolute shite).
The Crapids will have their hands full today! Wynne is playing DB position and though fast will not contain #14 he is just too small. Landon will get on the score sheet among others. Confidence is a drug and The Galaxy are Johnson & Johnson.... 4-0 period.lights out fun tonight!!!
I saw it on FSW at 8:00 tonight, after the Angels game (I think). Good to know that the DC vs KC match is on ESPN2, and we are delayed on FSW.... I bet people would much rather watch the DC KC match.
Come on. LAG is ALWAYS going to take back seat to the Angels unless and until the hundreds of thousands of baseball fans convert to soccer. Why would ANY rational TV station give LAG priority over the Angels when there is a conflict. The're just not that into economic suicide.
There is reason to believe that if you subscribe to MAtchdaylive or MLS direct kick, you'll be able to watch live at 6:30pm and it won't be blacked out due to the FSW broadcast at 8pm. So...there is that option. I also see some streams at at dhe that look likely to carry the game live.
LINEUPS Ricketts, DeLaGarza, Gonzalez, Berhalter, Dunivant, Stephens, Birchall, Juninho, Donovan, Buddle, Gordon
