Oh awesome!! I might just bring some margarita mix. I loves me some margaritas - in small quantities, diluted way down and with lots of water on the side and some Advil and Claritin to keep the allergic reaction down.
hopefully should be there before kickoff but doubt it, depends on how long back from pitt. if i do, ill be bringing wings
I be in columbia sc for my brothers ARMY graduations. Anybody know of any soccer friendly bars around there?
soccerbars.com says Wild Hare Sports Cafe http://www.wildharesportscafe.com/ I've also watched DCU games at Hooters when out of town and needing a place with lots of TVs
someone called? Cock and Bull I havent been there personally but heard it was okay. cant find a website but here is there myspace page http://www.myspace.com/pubgrille
I can't believe this is tomorrow and there are so few posts!! It feels like very few people are going to be there... come on, DCU and a big party day, don't leave town!!!
Dunno if there is an HK. Usually not on weeknights, though Oscar did cook last week. Hey! Hozkar! What say you?
Wife and I will be present and accounted for...Currently pondering what donation to make to the food table...Or beer table.
I can't speak for Tommy, but I'm not planning on there being any kind of conventional HK. Oscar may decide to cook on his own, but I'm hoping he doesn't. IMHO, it'd be awfully nice to get midweek games back to the old school Barra tradition of everyone contributing. Also, selfishly, I'd rather not have to make the trip over there earlier in the day tomorrow to drop off all the stuff I took home to clean/bleach on Saturday (and the cutting boards have had their first wash, but still need to be bleached).
I'll be there with one son. Still debating whether to bring the grill and cook something, or just wuss out and get some sort of takeout.
Chris - I understand your point about Oscar cooking, but he's on a winning streak! We REALLY, REALLY could use the win. just saying....
i will be there tonight bringing a bottle of booz for all who, like myself, enjoy God's gift to the south, american premium whiskey
Looks like the wife and I will be bringing a mix of beers/malt beverages for the booze selection. I'm open to recommendations, otherwise I'll pick up my usual snooty beersnob stuff coupled with the froofy girly drinks.
We've got some Salvadoran chorizo to grill up. Maybe it will inspire a certain Salvadoran to get cooking on the field...
i think i'll pick up a couple subs on my way over, and hey, whaddya know, there's a liquor store right next to the Subway here
