Can we sign him to play forward for the day? He'd be better than Dube

Hi all--I'll be going to my first Revs game this Saturday, and am bringing a few friends along. You'll notice I'm a TFC fan (I'm originally from the Toronto region, but moved to western Mass last year), but I'm sure the friends I'm bringing will be new Revs fans.

Just wondering what the stadium rules are regarding tailgating and what's allowed in (I assume no umbrellas if it rains). I look forward to a good game, and possibly going to more games to support my only #2 team.

Will there be TV coverage for this match? One fix of CSN HD and now they're listing a Celtics game. :(

Not sure what you mean about rules for tailgating. Unlike up at BMO, you can drink openly in the lots. ;) No umbrellas allowed in the stadium.
The Revs will find a way to get it on TV, but it might be the Comcast channel (3 I think on most boxes)?

    They better be. ;)
Yeah, no umbrellas. I recommend ponchos. As far as tailgating, kegs are technically not allowed. ]

No tailgating is allowed in the lot in front of the movie theater, but if you want to come over to the Midnight Riders lot, it's next to it in front of the pro shop. We're welcoming of away supporters and they'll likely be a bunch of fellow TFC fans making their way over there, too. They moved most of the tailgating to the south side up the hill by the Patriots Place complex. That's most likely where you'll be parking. As far as rules go, you can drink, BBQ, etc... like a normal NFL tailgate. Obvious laws of human decency still apply of course.

Not the best map, but you'll likely be going in P4 I believe and parking up there. The MR lot is next to the Proshop and I think you'll need a pass the first day this year (need clarification, didn't make the meeting).

Thanks. I hope you're right. I'm out of town until Thursday so can't check, but TV Guide no longer lists Channel 3 for Comcast.

Wouldn't that be if you have Comcast Cable? I have Cox, but get CSN like nearly every cable company in the area because they have the Celtics.

Weather Channel site now has Saturday as partly cloudy, high 54 / low 42 with a golf index of 7.

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Mansally, Dube, Tierney, Joseph, Phelan, Nyassi, Sinovic, Gibbs, Barnes, Alston, Burpo[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

^My guess on what Nicol will do. That being said, I'd rather have Mansally at LM, Tierney replace Sinovic at LB, and Osei stay in the lineup.

it will be interesting. With Barnes back, who do you pull if anyone? The rookie Sinovic who has done nothing to warrent a benching. Osei? at times he has been scary but that is what we have learned to expect from him. Alston? unless he is hurt, he is starting. Gibbs is the Captain, he is not going anywhere.
As for Tierney, I am not a fan but so far he has done well at left mid and is better suited there than at LB where is lack of speek exposes him.

I suspect the back four will be the same as it's been for the first two games. The only change will happen if someone (Alston?) has an owie.

I wonder if Toronto will try to lay back and force the Revs to make the game. So far the Revs have done a nice job of absorbing and diffusing pressure, but if they have to open up it might leave the back a bit more exposed.

And TFC has some midfielders who can spring a quick counter.

TFC has cut Gerba and Brennan is retiring. They are retooling.

I agree their defense looks a shambles, but the rest sounds kind of like Heaps retiring, Ralston moving to the NASL club in St. Louis and Twellman sidelined indefinitely.
