You talk to the BBC about showing match highlights on their website for users outside the UK, we'll talk to MLS about MatchCenter.

still, to have offered it in the past, and then just swipe it away from overseas' fans just like that is in bad form. what's the difference between last year and this year anyway?

I am disappointed I can not subscribe I have been a paid subscriber for the last couple of years and have enjoyed it, Bet365.com are streaming live MLS games via there website and that is continuing from last year although there is no option to make it full screen:(. At least ESPN is still showing games here although its only 1 game a week

They might be planning on adding support, right now it's early on and a lot of the features do not work. Maybe after they get it all sorted out they will open it to the rest of the world. Write to them, let your voice be heard! They will listen.

This bites. I have subscribed for years. Now, i can't view my MLS. Plus, the quality now is so much better (from the highlight reels from the games earlier this week) How much interest can there be outside the US? Did the MLS restrict access due to some sort of deranged licensing scheme?

Is there a way to spoof the IP address on my Mac or wriggle into the US network through some other means so that mlssoccer.com thinks I am actually in the US? There is always a way around this stuff... I don't know why the powers that be try to lock stuff down. Waste of everyones time.

this sucks. im stationed in korea and have been subscribing for years. this season is going to suck if all i get to look at are highlights.

on the plus side though. the military watches AFN (Armed Forces Network) basically a 13 channel cable package that TV Networks give shows to so the troops can watch them. ANYWAYs the MLS season opener was on and tonights Red Bull Chicago game is on too. to put this in perspective they used to only play the MLS Cup on AFN... progress perhaps?

Yeh I don't like the new website either. I wish they had a scoreboard. I had to go to ESPN to get the scores.

But, I have seen the match day live load using a proxy but it just timed out.

Funny that I was allowed to sign up using a proxy (and MLS took my money!) but the MDL doesn't work with a proxy.

Anyone know of a proxy which works?? What a joke, to have to jump through hoops to watch MLS, just cause I'm doing a temp assignment outside the country.
