Now that I've calmed down a bit from all the news on "Dynamo Park", I'm thinking ahead to that glorious day when we proudly march into the stadium, and encounter stadium security. Any ideas on security at our new digs? Who else is out there besides those wicked spawns of Satan we know as 5star?
I hope it is anybody but them. I had a run in with one of their a$$hole folks the very first Dynamo game I went to. For all the problems they cause I hope they are left off the list of possibilities.
There's always CSC but they've got plenty of shady cats over there too. I worked for them one summer in college doing concerts, the circus, and I got to be on the field during the Everton-America game at Reliant - I wasn't a soccer fan then and I remember thinking how weird it was that there were Everton supporters who flew over from England for a friendly.
I hope they keep 5-Star. They need to upgrade in a number of areas for sure but that should be very possible when they're working with a reasonable budget and modern facilities. What would really suck would be seeing the "Aramark" name all over the place and being forced to eat only what they want to feed us! There are a lot of familiar faces among the 5-Star employees and I hope they get to keep their jobs. The new venue will make all the difference.
When the Dynamo have their own place, they will get to set the rules. Currently U of H are the ones who set the guidelines at with input from the FO.
I guess you've got a good point. If the Dynamo FO is setting the rules, it's 5-stars' job to follow them. Just hope they don't get overbearing or power-hungry like I've seen a few of them do at Robertson. But, I'd still rather see someone else in charge, those few guys really soured my game-day experiences.
To hell with them! Let the Dynamo hire ,train and work hand and hand with fans to give us the best possible experiance we can have at our new crib.
