What would you think of trading Quaranta for Wolff?

Wolff = max salary and only one full season in his MLS career.

Quaranta = much less salary and only one full season in his MLS career.

From KC's angle, Wolff is better than Quaranta. They won't take that trade. From our angle, we can't afford Wolff and if you're going to have a forward permanently on the training table, you might as well be able to pay his salary without trouble.

I'd take Simutenkov over Wolff anyday. I like Wolff, don't get me wrong, but all the previous arguments are correct. He's not any healthier than Tino and with Tino we at least have another option at left wing as well. Igor has bouts of inconsistency but he's still one of the top snipers in the league.

Nice! ...and so true. Wolff makes Brian McBride look durable.

The difference is that McBride gets injured because he throws his body around to get the job done.

    Wolff's just soft.

I'm pretty sure Wolff's last knee injury while with Chicago occurred with no one else within 10 yards of him (at Cardinal Stadium, just outside the box near the left side). He's a nice guy and a hard worker but his body just doesn't cooperate.

Shouldn't we evaluate players based on what they can do for United now and for the future rather than for what they've done in the past?

    Career stats:

    McBride

    - 137 games played

    - 50 goals and 42 assists

    Wolff

    - 84 games played

    - 32 goals and 15 assists

Yup, it sure looks like Wolff is definitely way ahead of McBride on this argument..

Oh by the way, Wolff's career playoff stats - zippy goals, zippy assists..
