A must win, like every game we have left. If Cesc is 50-50 I'd rest him. We are going to need him fit for the quarter finals.

Which I worry about. Hopefully the boys won't revert to the old 'oh we're good, we'll just show up and collect our three points' attitude.

If we play anything like we have these last two games (which we will), we are going to KILL Hull. Let's get these 3 points!

Time to show we are still in it and keep the pressure. Three points!!! We need to be solid defensively especially in set peaces. We also need to be prepared for their thuggish attitude.

Still buzzing about the Porto match and excited about the competitions ahead! Amy Lawrence in today’s Guardian jokes about “Nicklas Bendtner's prodigious twin” who fortunately took the field last night. I think that nicely sums him up, very gifted but inconsistent. He’s 22, and outside of Cesc, we don’t find consistency in many others that age. What Nick does get now is brilliant, world class service -- he should arrange to have AA and his descendants mentioned prominently in his will!

Viewed from the perspective of opposing defenses such as Hull's, last night’s game has to be frightening. Arsene has come up with a system that brings pressure, passing, movement, and then a mixture of both direct and intricate goals. There is a plan A, B, and C. Of course the countering move is to try to close down our passing game starting in midfield, easier said than done, especially late in the game and on a decent pitch. The Shawcross slash will return this season because we terrify opposing defenses. When will the media (and referees) come around to the simple idea that it’s Arsenal’s pressurizing strength, not its weakness that provokes this desperate response from opponents?

I second that. We need to rest specially this guy (Cesc) untill the March 20th home game with West Ham. I would also rotate few players These squad can kill Hull any day as moral/confidence is high.

My Pick for 3/13 game Vs Hull

    Eboue-----Sol----TV-----Clichy

    Denilson-----Nasri------Diaby

    Walcott-----NB------Arshavin

    Sub
    Riscky for Walcott @65
    Eduardo for NB @ 75
    Vela for Arshavin @ 75

I am not sure if Vela is healthy enough to play i know he got injured in friendly game last week.

Actually, my bet is that Nasri is out for this one- he left the Porto game early and my guess is that he won't be back in time. My guess is that Rosicky will fill that gap.

Here's hoping that Cesc is back in time for next week's match against West Ham, or at least for the trip to Birmingham.

Personally, that's the game I'd save him for. We'll smack down the Hammers at the Emirates.

I'd like to be as fired up but I think Porto were just absolute crap yesterday. Their defending for the first two goals was atrocious...no premier league club is going to defend that poorly in the first 20 minutes....maybe late in the game when they're out of gas but not at the start.

As long as Bendtner stays healthy, my hopes are up too. If he goes out and we're stuck with a 5'4" center forward again....

Frankly I dont' care how many goals he scores right now...as long as he keeps playing well with his back to goal I'm happy.
