Donovan's teammates seem to love him. It's pretty rare to see the assister get a bigger celebration than the goalscorer. And I thought it was pretty funny that Neville was leading the "USA" chants. Somebody will buy him at the next window, for sure.
Joe Cole to Man U, Donovan to Chelsea... I don't know, as a Chelsea fan, if I would like that or not...
You have only begun to discover your power. Join me, and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy. If you only knew the power of the Dark Side.
Considering Joe Cole has been my favorite Chelsea player for the past 6 years, I'm incredibly against this move. I don't really see how Donovan would be an improvement. Hell, it's probably not even a lateral move. Durability has been an issue for Joey for awhile, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do sell him, but, please, just not to a rival Premiership club.
Not a sale - out of contract. I'd hope Landon would have learned what can happen when you have one bad game at a "big" club - miss a sitter like he did v Spurs, and he'd sit for a half-season @ Chelsea.
I always try to expect the worst from my favorite teams, especially Arsenal... I never doubt their ability to disappoint. But for some reason, I can't escape my optimism this season. We have this comeback spirit this year that makes me think that things are going to be different. The turn around at Stoke after Ramsey's injury compared to what happened when Eduardo got hurt is what finally convinced me. Add in the fact that we have an easier remaining schedule than ManU and Chelsea, and that we'll likely have Van Persie back for the final stretch, and I'm very excited and hopeful that this is our year.
Interesting stat from one of my favorite Twitter users (@optajoe). Man Utd - 6 losses Chelsea - 5 losses Arsenal - 6 losses Tottenham - 7 losses Man City - 4 losses (11 draws though, so in theory you could count it as more) Liverpool - 9 losses Aston Villa - 5 losses (10 draws)
Just about the perfect night for us Spurs fans. We go through to the FA Cup Semi-Final, City fail to capitalize on their game in hand, and Villa draw leaving us 2 points ahead on City, 4 on Villa, & 4 on Liverpool having played 1 less game than them. Nothing wrong with that at all
I KNOW! I could not believe that happened, sequentially. I was waiting on a comet to come through the roof of my house and squash me in my chair.

How much of the coverage will be about how great Man U is, with their American ownership and all. Bet we don't hear much about how much the fans hate them...
That wasn't the angle I was going for. More of the ESPN won't talk about the fan attitude toward the American owners was what I was looking at. That being said, I am not disappointed Rooney isn't playing. They will be talking about the Pensioners at the end...
Fabregas is out for the rest of the season with a broken leg. That should be that then for the league. :jinx:
