The USA has for years featured some of the best keepers in the World, and Timmy is as good as any of them. We'd be lost without him.

"I don't agree. In 2002, we weren't missing 3-4 KEY members of our A squad when we played the Dutch. The US is a good team but our drop off from our starting 11 is pretty steep. If we looked like this with Dempsey, Gooch, Clark, Benny F, Cherundulo or even Davies then I would be more worried. "

Maybe that is the case but we were sending out relatively young and brash players. Donovan and Beas were play with NO FEAR. Where are those young guys now. Yes Davies is one of them but any others. This team plays with no brashness. No individual swagger, and at times no heart. That is not what our team should be built.

Not seeing the "", they haven't scored on any created play whatsoever. A terrible mistake from Bornstein that should of been avoided and a unlucky bounce of JB. The score is what the score is. But what I'm saying is that those goals could have easily been avoided.

The dutch are very good. nice pas by Sneijder, take down by Van der Vaart(?) and backheel to Huntelaar who just gets the ball stuck under his feet.

Finally, Bornstein out, Goodson in. You could have made this sub 40 minutes ago, Bob!

I can't wait to see Bornstein's ranking on the 1-10 scale. This could come very close to the lowest player ranking ever.

We had a younger team then fueled by many domestic players with a chip on their shoulders fit to prove something. We've got more experienced players based over seas now with a chip on their sholders but maybe no sense of urgency, maybe? It's not just about tactics and chemistry, it's about attitude Bob B.

Maybe the US can blame it on the new polyester uniforms they are wearing.
