Hard to argue that Joy did not bring some fire to RSL which as we saw over the past few seasons was much needed. but to bring him back for emotional reasons makes no sense. I would much rather see this team focus on and spend money on a quality striker.
Rander's goes down and I say "Go get Yura" he is a player who has a huge upside.

I think most of us are confident with Russell and Cox as our backups on the outside.

Cox is an outside midfielder, or at least that was the only way I saw him used.
It would be nice to have some depth back there, but with the limited roster size, I think we really need to focus on brining in an attacking player. Either a very good attacking mid to compliment javi (we could then do a 4-5-1 with 3 CM's) or a striker. Dont mean to bag on Espy and Campos (and Thomas I guess) but Yura was influential to our success last year, very influential

It appears that Ian Joy will be signing with the Portland Timbers either today or tomorrow.

I guess they got the required amount of beer delivered. Whaddaya expect from Utah. If they had asked for green Kool-Aid, things might have been different.......:D

Good for Ian and Portland. If he is still there when they make the jump, he will likely be recieved well at the RioT

Nice as the day is long. Crocked like butter too. Maybe the Timbers won't notice...
