Adidas thread [4] - all questions, info here please!

Anyone owns Adidas Kaiser? and whats the difference between Kaiser, Copa Mundial, and Adidas World Cup? Which one are best?

 

i think kaiser's werent made in germany but copa's are, and i think copa's are best and world cups were like and SG version to the copa?

 

The Copa is the best is terms of leather quality and overall quality, however, they are only available in FG. The World Cup is essentially the Copa's SG equivalent, however, it's quality and fit don't quite match up the same. This fact is further proven by the number of professionals who have SG studs fitted into their Copas. That said, the World Cup is still a fantastic boot.

The Kaiser would fall at the bottom of the list, yet is still a quality boot. Provided you pick a pair that fit correctly, you'll be more then happy with any of these 3 boots.

 

arn't copas more of an HG? i mean, the soleplate is essentially the same as the super ligeras which are marketed as HG...

just something i was thinking about the other day lol

 

so adidas only sold them to eurosport???? are they only availible in usa?? i want them badly!!never seen any pro wearing them!

I was looking around ebay and stumbled upon these, which, if the information I gathered from the internet is accurate, are either very good fakes, or super rare powerswerves.

 

Not sure on predator... but if u know what were with the original pair like brochures and hows the box is and such its mainly real... like fake superflies always the seller have lost the box or got them from a freind which threw it away and no brochures and such but dont buy them because of that anyway theyre freaking nice how much are they ? throw a link

the guy's from indonesia, and shipping's pretty high. He's also selling a number of other rather rare boots, if you look at his other items. A pair of E8 Vapors, and Orange Vapor IV SLs. A pair of blue Manias too.

I'm so confused though! I thought only 2 pairs of the Gold DB Powerswerves were ever made by Adidas!
I guess I was wrong.

anyone owns Adipure and Adidas Telstar II? I have both, but currently i only use the Telstars (Master Blue) because my Pure's soleplate busted . They both felt almost the same, except the insoles, do you guys think i can swap the insoles? i think that the Telstar's insole are glued to the shoe, anyone has any tips? thanks

 

Cut it out using an exacto knife or just rip it out with your hands. This is what I did with my Sambas.

are the Adipure I's soleplate prone to cracking? I have seen a few people with this issue on BS alone..
I have found some Adipure I in my size but am hesitant to get them because of this. Is the Adipure II/III soleplate less prone to this issue?

 

I just got the Adipure II CL(Rome) and they are perfect in almost every way. The leather is very soft, the insole is like a pillow. It's all around amazing, wasn't very convinced about the colorway but I changed my opinion really fast. The only drawbacks I see is that the heel may be a bit too low(or maybe I'm used to the powerswerve's) and that the inside of the heel seems to rub a bit against my skin, but that will probably change. I've wore them for 5 and a half hours straight, they are just wonderful; too bad I can't play due to some silly muscle tear.
