I've been using Football Streaming Info for years, but their website has been down, maybe ended.

Where are other streams gathered in links?

Any other tips for finding games welcome.

ESPN360.com has some stuff, if your ISP has paid for access. If your ISP doesn't have access, you're not entirely screwed. Here are some basic notes I made last year:

    1) Get access to an "ESPN360-friendly" connection.
    2) Link your ESPN.com account to ESPN360.com on that "friendly" connection by following the remote access.

Here is the list of providers:

that's the best site by far, especially for the great folks in the forums there.

BTW - the best programs to use for watching EPL are:

Sopcast and Stream Torrent. Both offer up to 1MB feeds of most EPL, FA Cup, and international matches.

The best new site for watching games is Vexcast, offers 600k streams, but only works with IE.

Of course if you don't mind watching matches on "tape delay", you can pretty much find any major or semi-major EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga or Serie A match you want after signing up on ********.com. You'll find links to downloads and torrents, and you can even find 720p HDTV caps of most of the Sky EPL matches as well as many from La Liga, the Bundesliga and other leagues.

Or if you have binary newsgroup access, search your favorite team on binsearch.info and download at your max speed.

Then you get yourself a WDTV box and a thumb drive or portable hard drive to play them back on an HDTV, and you're set. Only thing you need to do is avoid the results, which isn't hard to do in the USA (although slightly tougher these days if you watch other sports on the ESPN channels as they scroll results on their bottom line).

********.com is good if you grab the EPL caps by member "AlbionDean".
If you get a membership (free) to www.warez-bb.org there plenty of caps there as well in the "TV" subforum.
Look for posts by member ">Karreem<".

I ditched my Dish network acct. last Aug. and am living off well off of streams and downloads. Quality is good, and my wallet is happy.

    Questions from a novice.............

Are there any problems with the downloads, compatibility or otherwise?
Does the quality of the picture decrease as the match goes on?
Are there any issues with things like popup blockers?
Do different streams provide different picture quality?

Use Google Chrome - the safest browser (or Opera, the least targetted)

The quality depends on the site, the streaming person's Internet speed, your Internet speed and how many people are watching. For me personally, TVU seems to have really high quality, Veetle the worst (great image quality, but constant skipping/freezing) and Justin.TV is hit and miss.

if anyone has an Android OS phone, you can download the UStream app and watch matches on your phone. This morning i watched the ACN match on my phone through that app on 3G. it buffers for about 2seconds maybe every 5minutes, but doesn't skip any action when it comes back. the quality was very good too. i am using a NexusOne, not sure if that makes a huge difference.
