Sorry for starting a new thread, I skimmed a couple pages and didn't see any threads, feel free to move as necessary.

Just wanted to let you guys (and gals) know that you are getting a helluva player. I live in Oregon and went to more than a handful of OSU games, and Mwanga is the real deal. When he turns it into gear, he was truly unstoppable in the Pac-10. I remember a game against Washington, he scored within 90 seconds of the opening whistle. The rest of the half was a pain on the eyes, but midway through the second half, he chested the ball down from outside the area, and unleashed a side volley that left the goalie with no chance.

Congrats, and good luck next year.

Me too! Ha. And thank you Naco for your input. I'm really excited to have Mwanga playing for us next year. With our current striking corp, I can easily see Mwanga starting from the opener.

Thank you for the fine write-up . Great stuff. The more I hear about Danny Mwanga , the more I look forward to watching him play live. Several matches on tv were great, but nothing like live.

So do you think Fred will pass to Mwanga or Moreno more?

Don't know. But , any Fred thru ball creating a scoring chance for either Moreno or Mwanga sounds MMm good to me.

The correct answer is C) Philly's attack already puts San Jose's to shame, and we had a 2 year head start.

This probably has been answered before, but is Mwanga eligble to be a potential USMNT player?

He'd have to apply for US citizenship. Then he'd be eligible for either the Congo or US national team, I believe.

Wow, giving the most "coveted" shirt number to a player yet to establish himself in the league. That's bold.

You could definitely have more fun when Columbus comes to town and brings their Bright Dike ... I mean, come on, seriously?

The crew boards are hilarious about their picks so far ... Dilly Duka and Bright Dike, aka "Ice Cream on a Stick" and "Smart Lesbian".

    I smell tifo potential.

anyone else notice that Danny Mwanga born in Zaire and from the Congo speaks better English than most of the 76ers and numerous Eagles.

    just sayin
