2010 Jersey

Wearing my Overmars Aresenal SEGA jersey right now, definitely had to have it when I saw it!

 

What's wrong with those? They're bright, but I liked them.

 

I don't like the yellow cuffs on the away jersey. Take those away and it would look nice. The home looks the same as our last one except the dumb black stripes at the top and bottom. I don't like the cookie cutter designs adidas keeps coming out with. If adidas owns puma why don't some teams have puma designs? They can still use an adidas ball etc.

 

Outside of the neon color...nothing.

 

i think that if the black kit was the same template as the new home kit then the pin stripes would look much better and it would give adidas's weird wavy lines more of a reason to be on the kit, like how they appear for chivas

 

The new black jersey will look great with yellow shorts and black socks.

 

Won't the sleeve stripes on the change shirts make it look like we have 10 captains?

Why isn't the star above the crest black? you can't see it at all.

I stand by my earlier statement about the Crew version of that template looking better than the Chivas version.

No star on the away shirt?

 

No stars on the replica jerseys. Note that the yellow replica jersey (just posted here) doesn't have the star either. If you want a star, you have to pony up for an authentic jersey.

 

Forget about jerseys, I'm already buying my Christmas Cards for this year...

the pregame is very similar to last years home....the away would be perfect without the yellow bands...oh well

 

The away looks pretty slick. The bands are a little too much, but it's still a good shirt.

 

Anyone ordered one yet? I'm seriously considering springing for the authentic l/s banana kit. There's just the problem of money. But as one poster said awhile ago, "It's Columbus til I die, not Columbus til I run out of money."

 

That droopy line at the top is dumb. It looks like someone's necklace broke.

 

I didn't think it could look worse than the drawings, but, um, yeah.

Looking at all the teams, I think this is a horrifically down cycle for adidas. The new shirts are awful from coast to coast. It's gonna be a fugly two years.

 

I was wondering is anybody going to put a star on the jersey's they own now.

 

Maybe these new kits will grow on me after a season, but I think my Crew jersey money is going to the Red Cross this year.

 

I hear ya on that! It's a shame too, the brand recoginition of the Crew has really grown in the last few years, not only from being successful but the jerseys looked good, and I saw a major increase in and around pickup leagues all over Columbus. With these new designs I know I won't want one, and I won't be wearing one if I get it... it sucks!!

 

I like the aways-- except for the armband.
The homes are too close to last years' and don't justify the extra cost.
