    Oman,
Did you read the article lead at the beginning of this thread? If you did you would know what this discussion is all about. READ THE ARTICLE! It quotes Elliot as not knowing about the new MLS ruling on hiring of minorities. I find it hard to beleive that this thread has gone this long and so many of you are lost. The first thing I did was to read the article. That way, I won't make any moranic statements about this thread not having to do with the Burn. The whole administration is blind to what the MLS HQ sees and what they are trying to do to rectify the problems we are having here.

"Equipos de la MLS que no cumplen con la MLS serán multados, añadió. El presidente y gerente general de los Dallas Burn Greg Elliott señaló que él no sabía de tal política pero que como quiera lo apoyaría. "

It's not *ignorace* a no defence at all.

    What about him?
He talked to the press about his souer deal, and how he was ripped off. He quited on the MLS the day after his first check.

You did not hearing saying that!!!
It was a well known fact with the Hispanic press.
    Where were you???

Jose - please re-read the linked article.

It is about the MLS league office and a new policy they implemented. It is NOT about the Burn, Colin Clarke, or Greg Elliot. It contains one quote from GE regarding the policy.

The question about how specifically this relates to the Burn has not yet been answered. So - please, someone, in plain english, in your own words, answer the question about how you believe this article is about the Burn.

For those of you who do not want to follow the lead at the beginning of this thread, here is a part of it:

Can you now say that this has nothing to do with the Dallas Burn? We have to keep in mind that this is a "Dallas Burn" forum site.

    In plain English:
It lets us know how well our leader is leading us into the 2004 season. Is he in tune with what is going on with the MLS? If he is the GM, I would think that he would know about what is going on. Aren't the Burn part of the MLS? Don't we play according to MLS rules?

Gringoita - tu sabes nada about what we know.

Secco quit because his agent lied to him about the deal the MLS offered for his contract.

What? You didn't know that the Burn has nothing to do with the players' contract? Why that is common knowledge among the people posting on this board.

You said yourself that you weren't here year one. I was. So were most of the posters in this forum. You truly do not know who you are so freely insulting.

Most of us were brought up to be courteous, to embrace our differences rather than throw things at every one we don't know.

The point of the previous post is that the MLS made the contract with Wash Rod, the MLS decided he was an "allocation" level player, the MLS decided to allocate him to the Burn, Wash Rod quit a few weeks into the season because of the MLS contract, the MLS league office did not see fit to replace him with another player of the same level.

The point of the post was that the Burn have been dealt a raw hand by the MLS league office since day one. It has nothing to do with whether or not we read the spanish media accounts.

    Tu sabes nada.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: you just don't get it

Just so we're clear, I don't care who takes this particular position, they are probably the ONLY people NOT welcome in The Inferno. Sorry guys, I don't care how classless these guys have been, it doesn't warrant this kind of attitude - and even if you're joking, it is a really bad joke.

Frankly, since most of these guys (on both sides of the argument) seem more about talk than action, I don't expect any of you to show up - but I figured I would make sure you knew where we stood.

The Inferno does not condone or partake in any sort of aggro crap - nor tolerate those who do - all Dema jokes aside.

If you KNOW in your heart of hearts that you CAN keep your cool and just have a good time playing soccer, come on out. But if there is even a shadow of a doubt, don't show up because you *will* be asked to leave. It hasn't happened often - maybe once or twice in eight years - but there will be no hesitation. If you're not playing for fun, you're not playing.

Oh, and just for the record, Sam's Army is the same way - and yes, I along with others in The Inferno are members of Sam's Army. Trust me when I say this is not a bridge you want to burn if you have any interest in participating in either The Inferno (Football Club or Supporters Club) or Sam's Army.

Hopefully that was just me being insanely overly cautious rather than it being needed to be said, but I have no interest in some sort of 'misunderstanding.'

Joyce once said "it will take scientists hundreds
of years to deciper every level of of my prose."

Finnegan's Wake is a brilliant masterpiece
written on dozens of levels with dozens of
messages on every page, carefully constructed
to contain layer upon layer of information within
what appears to be a single text. I have never
finished it, and barely understand 2 or 3 of the
levels of meaning, but have read commentary
that deciphers 10 or 12 levels, and only then
    does Joyce' brilliance become apparent.

Bayardobabble is the direct opposite of Joyce:
intestinal blowout with zero data designed
to obfuscate the complete lack of any
    information contained therein. Bayardobabble
    surpasses anything Babbelfish could ever
accomplish. Add race baiting and 1st grade
grammar (from someone who claimed to
be in US Special Forces AND is/was a
public school bilingual teacher) and you get
    Bayardobabble: No Content, No Purpose,
    No Value, and Not Welcome.

You are so much full of it. You do need heavy treatment at the local medical facility.

Where in hell Baya said he was Special forces?
How in the FU*k a mighty "RED LEG" "109A3" with a "155mm" self propel get to be Special Forces puke.
Now, if you meant to say Special Weapons that is no body business. That is between uncle sugar and him. Even in a rapid deployment force they need the mighty "blue rod"

How in the FU*k a powerful "RED LEG" "109A3" with a one same one "of 155m m" drives is able to be special forces puke. Now, if you meant to say the special arms that it is not no business of the body. That is between the sugar of the uncle and he. In a fast force of the unfolding they even need the "powerful blue bar"

    So, You are it!
You need to smartly move out before your wife gets to know by the cut and paste magic your silly talks again.
Baya does want to see a marriage destroy for your stupidity. Even though he said, he would be doing her a HUGE favor. She could do 1000 better. if she get off that pedestal.

Or what is even worst, The brass could already know about your deviant behavior ad use your wife as Paul. We do not want paul to pay for Peter. Do we????
