i wouldnt know about thei durability, cause i wear mine sparsely now. but in terms of comfort, they'll feel stiff,as if made out of wood, at first. over time ur foot will adjust to the boot. why i wear mine sparsely(mostly for games) is cause i think even if ur foot adjusts to it,it still isnt good for it. u'll realise how bad it feels as soon as u wear them for like a month and during the middle of a session, switch to much more comfortable boots like lasers or legends
Looking for opinions/reviews on Predator X and CTR 360 Maestris... Looking to get my boots in january and I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. So if anyone here owns these boots please let me know what you think of them!
What do you guys use to clean your cleats? I took a look at mine yesterday, and, as I have about 4 weeks until I can play again, I thought I'd touch them up. They're t90 Strikes, and they're basically just covered in dirt and dust. Do you guys just use water? Soap and water? Or is there something else entirely?
Warm water and a nail brush for me, it the bristles are strong enough to remove mud/dirt/stains but not damage the upper. But as it says above. A toothbrush would do just as good a job. Just a nail brush cleans a greater area. Of course, if you clean your boots after every wear, it keeps them in better shape anyhow rather than letting the dirt/stains build up! appleCORR
Im playing on a 3G pitch on monday with my club for the first time, i've trained on it. But im not sure which boots i'd be better off wearing? My nike tiempo II's FG (which i've been wearing for training) or my Adidas predator powerswerve FG. Sorry i didnt know where to post this. Thanks in advance.
i would wear whichever boot you have been training with or whichever boot your more comfortable playing in on the 3G.!
OK. i have a question for everybody here. since its winter and i dont use my outdoor boots in indoor because i have turf shoes soooo, should i take the studs out of my f50's and my zhero gravity's so that the studs dont get rusty and not work anymore? so just should i take the studs out of my cleats so they dont get rusty? thanks everyone!
if you're paranoid about it then yeah i don't see why not. but i i'm pretty sure all of the metal in the f50 studs is aluminum, but i ahve no idea about the zhero gravity studs as i've never seen them.
I dont think they will get rusty tbh. Just give them a good clean. They are designed to get wet. It would be a bit stupid of boot companies to make a stud that rusts that is designed to be used in wet/muddy conditions. appleCORR
has anyone got a pair of Reebok KFS Sprintfit Pro 2's? They're real cheap on kitbag.com and just wanted to know if they're worth picking up.. cheers
i know there made to get wet but i have heard that you should take out the studs in the offseason because theres a chance they could rust i think i will take them out just to be careful! especially since im leaving for 2 weeks tomorrow!
Rust will only come about when there is moisture on the sole(not cleaning your boots). If you don't look after your boots expect them to get shtty
recently i washed my Adipure I because it was so dirty, i washed them with a lot of water and they were completely wet (inside and outside), after that i put the boots outside to let them dry under the sun (notice that i live in tropical climate = hot sunny day), and the next day i wore them for a match and they felt completely different, they dont feel as comfy as usual, is this because i washed them or because i let them dry in high heat? thank you
It could be. The best way to dry boots if they get soaked is stuffing them with newspaper and just leaving them at room temperature to dry. The sun could have dried the leather out similar to when you put them underneath a heater to dry. Something which you should never do. appleCORR
I'm sure the more you wear them the softer they will become. You can always try putting some dubbing on the leather too as this can help soften it. appleCORR
