    WE DID IT!

    WE ********ING DID IT!

I could barely watch in the last few minutes. Last time we lost to them I had to explain to my super why my door was split in 2 and lying off its hinges - but not today!

I didn't think it could happen, but this was the best weekend in a long long time!

But really lads, what this game illustrated is what happens when you spend a bit of money to get the player you want.

Gotta admit... Webb for once did a good job today (IMO). We scrubbed that one out.

Arshavin is a big game player...despite being frustrated with him at times he always shows up in the big games.

Walcott hopefully just needs a run of games to get good but he just looks so weak out there.

Song is our best player on the pitch week in week out.

TV and Gallas I think were excellent today, especially having to deal with Almunia's garbage.

Almunia.... dont really have to say anything there.

Amazing 3pts, Wenger turned it around at half time.

Lets hope Trarore and Arshavin are ok. Trarore may be hurt more as it seemed to be a pull where Andrei hopefully just has bruising.

It should be noted that Howard Webb stayed strong under a lot of intimidation.

I said Diaby and Song will both big players for you this season, and was laughed off. It seems they have been.

    i am soooo happy!

i was soo nervous the last 20 minutes.

arsenal were so lucky. and liverpool so unlucky. our midfield could hardly hold onto the ball. but liverpool are a great team. unlike last season, things just aren't clicking for them.

i was really happy to see diaby come on and help defensively and retain the ball.

Vermaelen was a giant in the second half and Sky Sports have given him MOTM.

Cesc and Tommy said that Arsene was screaming at them at half time and that he had never done that before!!

Wow!!! Apparently Arsene Wenger ripped the team to shreds at halftime and told them if they play like that, they don't deserve to wear the Arsenal shirt.

That's a lot of revision, but hey, I'm sure know one else notices. BTW, Diaby has to stay healthy to be a big player for us. So far, he's been both good and bad depending on the game. Again, I don't think I have disagreed with anything anyone has said about good about Song. I always have thought that he would be important this year given that he was important last year.

And you had to have BS goalkeeping to get your one goal.

Great job in the second half. Wenger made a brilliant move by switching Walcott and Nasri. That switch completely nullified L'pool from the beginning of the half and they never quite got back their first half dominance. I definitely agree with Anti, I was so glad Almunia didn't have to do much of anything in the 2nd half.

Credit to L'pool players, I don't think they played that poorly. I think Benitez let them down, he could counter Wenger's tactical switch in the second half and that's what killed L'pool.

Bad news is that it looks like we've gone through our 3rd LB (to me it looked like Traore pulled up with a hamstring pull) and Arshavin might have done some serious damage to his foot with that shot (the way he made contact with the L'pool defender and the way he was hobbling that looks like the dreaded metatarsal injury to me).

On the balance of play IF I were a neutral, I'd say a draw would've been a fair result but right now I don't care b/c I'm not a neutral.

So if Antifan puts out a hit on him our 'inter-board' relations wont be adversely affected?
