I told you all that River Plate shouldn't be in the Top10 teams of South America. They lost "El SuperClasico (vs Boca)" 2-0 at home and Boca Juniors controlled almost the whole game. For a while River Plate couldn't make 2-3 passes in a row without losing the ball and couldn't get passed the midfield.
yes, their level is dropping at a fast rate, almost exponentally, River will find itself out of the top 10 if they fail in La Sudamericana, if they manage to do alright, they'll be around 10th....remember these rankings are constantly changing.

Actually in Bogota I believe Santa Fe is the affluent team and Milionarios is the team of the people. At least I base that on my interactions with varying people in Bogota. A banker and several lawyers like Santa Fe. The others like Milionarios. I could be wrong. In Brazil - Sao Paolo - I believe Sao Paolo is the affluent team and Corinthians is the team of the people.
El Deportivo Tachira si es el mas popular... tienes que ver que ese partido habian 8.500 personas en el estadio: 5 mil de Tachira y 3.500 del Caracas (pero muchos espectadores, mas no fanaticos). Lastima que cuando el Tachira no pelea titulo, va muy poca gente a su estadio. Despues del Tachira, viene Estudiantes de Merida. Despues diria que Maracaibo comprobo que aun teniendo una mala temporada llevaba 3 o 4 mil personas al estadio normalmente. Pero somos todavia un equipo nuevo... nos falta crecer Caracas y Guayana vienen despues... Caracas porque es una lastima que domingo tras domingo ver las imagenes de un estadio tan chiquito, tan vacio... hasta los jugadores del Carcas echaban bromas de eso en un programa de Meridiano TV. Y Mineros tiene aficion, cuando gana... Trujillanos e Italchacao... estadios totalmente vacios
