Question at this point is do we play Arshavin? I mean he seems really down and out. I know he is tough but why play him when his heart isnt in it?
It's too bad that Andrey doesn't feel like playing. I wonder how he'd react if the club didn't feel like paying him? If he's not interested in competing he needs to find another line of work.
When's Bendtner back? I think we may consider bringing in a striker in January. Has anyone noticed how tough our schedule is in late January and early February? In a two week period, we play at Villa, against ManUre, at the Bridge and against Liverpool. We need to spend some of that Ade/Toure cash that came in this summer.
Exactly. I didn't feel like going to work on Monday after we lost to Sunderland on Saturday, but I don't think that would've went over well with my boss...He played well in midweek and should be able to get up for a big match like this. He's a professional.
Did I miss an AA interview where he made a claim to this effect recently? I admit that I couldn't watch the Liege match live and scrolled through the 2nd half, but in the first as well as on the weekend he looked sharp to me.
When the chips are down are we going to wilt away, or rally back and fight even harder? Recent history would suggest the former, and seeing senior players like Arshavin unable to cope with adversity, I'm not sure how much has changed.
I agree man up and be professional. All that macho talk in the beginning of the season seems to be hot air. In life there are ups and downs, he needs to man up and deal with it. Now stick your boots on and give it your best for your employer and AW a man who believed in you.
So this interview happened, what, a day or 2 after the loss? Give him a week and a bottle of Stoli, he'll get over it.
UGH. If he can't get up for this match, he needs to not be in football. London Derby against the 1st place Blues and at home!!!
According to the BBC, Bosingwa is the only player missing for Chelski. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/8377195.stm
With all the handwringing about how Drogba will abuse Senderos if he plays, how do we know that TV5 won't make him his bitch? For all we know AW bought him because he saw something in his play that he targeted specifically for Drogba. To be honest, I have difficulty seeing past Chelski for the title -- they are really in form thus far this year. But you never know, eh? It's good to be a Gooner!
Come on you reddssss!!! going to be dreaming of cesc putting in a beautiful ball to arshavin who cooly chips it over cech for a late winner lets show the scum how a real team plays footie
