Simple, lets beat them and regain our pride!!!!!! Must win IMO to close the gap. Time for Arshavin, Cesc, Rosicky, and Eduardo to be sharp for this close encounter. Song should be ready for a very physical battle.

I'm hoping for a win, guessing a draw. Chelsea look very good this year.

I'm very much looking forward to this one- let's hope Gallas is fine and that we can score 3 or 4 of them. That should do the trick.

I think we really need to bring out the big guns for this one.

Agreed. Chelsea have looked very difficult to beat this, but if Wigan can do it, we certainly can. Chelsea play pretty narrow with the diamond midfield. We need to spread the field and try to exploit Walcott's and Arshavin's pace. Bendtner would've been nice to have upfront for them to feed crosses to. Terry and Ivanovic aren't the quickest defenders, either. Drogba seems to love playing against us. I'm hoping TV and Gallas fare better than Gallas and Toure have in the past against him. Also hoping Eduardo has a break out performance or at least plays well, he was really anonymous against the Black Cats. I too think we have to score a whole bunch of goals to win this. Cesc, Arshavin and Nasri better have their shooting boots on. We need them to shine!

I remember reading that he didn't suffer a concussion and likely to play. Whatever that means in "Arsenal" terms

According to Arsenal.com Gallas is a 'big question mark', apparently his eye is still heavily swollen. If Drogba is aware of this news he'll be licking his lips because another encounter with Phillip Senderos is the last thing Arsenal need:(

Yep me too, however he's not so lets deal with the situation and see how we can win our game with our current players. Who to play in the striker role is the main question?

    Well im sh!tting myself...

The last thing we need in this game is Gallas out and Senderos/Silvestre in -= Drogba will have a field day! If Willie isnt available then the only option is for Song to cover at CB and fill the midfield with Fabregas and a combo of Ramsey/Denilson/Nasri...

    Ideal team though:

    Almunia
    Sagna Verm Gallas Traore
    Fab Song Ramsey
    Nasri/Rosicky/Walcott Eduardo Arshavin

personally i think this will be a tight game, one goal in it, Chelseas defence are beasts! However 1 nil or 2-1 to the ARSE!!

ps heres a scary thought for you...Eboue Senderos Vermaelen Silvestre!

I'm more worried about guys like Joe Cole and Anelka than Drogba to be honest. That and free kicks.

ramsey cannot start over nasri or rosicky. we need experience when we face big teams, and even though ramsey is a massive talent, i wouldnt want him starting this match. also both nasri and rosicky are simply better than ramsey so there is no reason one or both of them shouldnt start.

I think I'd rather see Eboue at LB than Traore..

It's astounding to me that Senderos is still with this team. If he plays Sunday they lose - period.
