I sense (if true) this is UPPER 121-123, above the walkway. (Rows AA, BB, CC, etc.) The Sounders opened those seats halfway through the season, after which they had to periodically hear from soccer moms that all those people standing up in the section below wouldn't stop singing and waving flags. I'm hoping ECS' new upstairs neighbors are a little more understanding. [Thinks to self, "this ought to be interesting..."]
I don't think they have more money/resources that AEG, they like ALL other teams in the league treat their fans better than the Galaxy.
I did not think there were any open seats in 121-123. Those should have been in the STH packages. Unless, as SeaM states they are for the upper sections of 121-123.
Took a quick look around for last min travel from LA and saw a non-stop roundtrip for $139 including taxes & fees. Tripadvisor.com right-click "View Image"
RE: 121-123 GA ... When seattle was eliminated there was a lot of sadness and disgruntlement in ECS, which led to a lot of people deciding they wanted to sell their tickets. And it was quickly obvious that the highest bidders were likely to be away supporters. With Chicago and Houston still in the running, there was a lot of concern among those still wanting to go that there would be a lot of unfriendly away support in our "Home"... We all know how alcohol and annoyance can lead to violence (the non-ECS in GA moreso than ECS) When LA and RSL won their playoff games, everyone cheered and that talk all pretty much subsided. I will say this... with the crappy weather and no Sounders playing, my hunch is there will be a LOT of open seats in and directly around 117. Certainly you should check!
BTW, it's been dumping snow in the mountains. Anyone who likes some early season powder is encouraged to bring your gear. Baker, Crystal and Stevens are all open.

wow that Galaxy dog sounds good but thats not even offered at the HDC. May be it was just made for this special occasion? I do got to say that introducing food from each of the states that the teams are from is a mighty fine idea.
All right!!! Good luck and safe travels guys. See you there and if your driving remember to bring chains.
I just pray to God that if Seattle ever makes the final their supporters only be allociated 100 tickets in the worse part of what ever stadium is hosting to event.
Pretty close: US Open Cup Final 2009 in the upper deck at RFK, with the bird shit, broken seats and crumbling cement. No ticket limit, though.
more notes on Qwest... Passport will not necessarily get you beer. Best not to argue. Don't even try with a vertical ID. You can get 2 beers at a time but the buyer must be the one to carry them both away. Vertical ID's, passports etc are probably ok if you are carded at your seat. Security might be stepped up for this match. Some numbers of nearby anti-Seattle folks will be there not so much to cheer Galaxy/RSL as to display anti-Seattle stuff and pick fights with anyone in green. They will be in your gear, up to you to decide if that makes them your friends. When you see 2-poles, scarves and banners about suicide, rape, immorality, toilet humor etc, that's them. It may also mean security is tight, don't be surprised if flasks and other bottles are tossed at the gate (you can't bring in any liquids except sealed bottled water, outside food is also ok). Flags are encouraged, up to 3' x 5' is cool with no prior arrangement. Poles must be 1/2" PVC, no more than 3 1/2 feet long, and hollow with no caps so they can look down the shaft of the pole. I often carry in a big bag o' flags and switched to a mesh bag to make it easier for them to verify they're hollow. Banners are cool and those of you in the 300-level will have well over a hundred feet of rail banner space available on various rails; go nuts, bring as much as you can. On the very front rail you may not have tix but can probably get folks to let you hang your stuff. Front rail banners have to be skinny - no more than 1 1/2 feet drop due to permanent ad boxes. Between row D and row G is a walkway with about a 5' wall, banners 10-20' long and 2-4' tall should work fine. Since rain is possible (will probably break for most of the game) they'll be handing out free ponchos at the gate. They're all green. I asked about getting some red and yellow ones but it's too late, besides this year's MLS cup motif is silver, blue and green per the MLS. I don't know if you can bring a thousand of your own ponchos but your 300-level seats will all be under cover anyway, the entire 300 level and most of the 200 level will be dry no matter what; those in the south end zone and the east 100-level will be the only ones in the rain. Looking forward to this. You guys are awesome for coming up here. So glad you have passion for your team and town!
Hi, Rodneyd44? It's adorable if you think our own supporters haven't had painful problems with seating. But please, tell me what seats your tix are, and I'll personally come buy you a beer for your trouble (AND I'm totally serious). AND I'll be happy to post a picture taken from the worse part of the stadium, so there's no doubt. You know how happy I would be if I found out I had a ticket to the Sounders MLS Finals game, but in order to watch the game I had to be hung upside-down with my ankles being clamped to a bat-perch from the upper roof??? Yes, the ticketing was stupid, BUT YOU GET TO WATCH YOUR TEAM LIVE, IN PERSON, IN THE FINALS. You lucky F*king bastard.
Were going to be in Section 117. I AM very happy that our team is in the final and am glad I am going to be there to see them. When teams were at the Home Depot Center three (3) times, their Supporters Groups were given VERY good sections not stuck way up in the cornor where they can't be seen. I know it is not the ticket holder's fault, but some thing should have been done by your FO before now. Does your FO think only 100 people would travel to see you team? Of course not, they should have thought about this in the begining.
Vent away, guys. The RSL supporters are now seeking info from the Seattle folks on how to have the best possible time at the game, but you're all about how HDC incorporated thousands of Crew/Red Bull supporters into the front rows without displacing a single STH so why can't we do that. A tale of two cities, indeed. Have fun.
I agree. My beer offer is legit. In fact, the first I heard of "100 seats" I was totally livid: http://weareecs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=6001#p86301 I think the point of my last remark was-- "You're going to be okay."
Well, if you see me at the game, say hi and I'll point you to Rodney. (The guy on my avatar is me LOL)
I feel for the supporters, for sure. The minute we (Seattle ticket holders) were told that our last ticket...would get us into MLS Cup, we knew it would be porblematic for visitors. The decision was really a league one. They decided to let 26,000 of the best seats be 'suddenly sold' when they gave to the Cup hosting to Seattle, and then gave our huge season ticket base tickets to the match...
