Isn't this supposed to be an experiment match?

Loew cant be more conservative n predictable. I would love to see a 4-4-2 diamond in the 2nd half: Gomez and Hunt at CF; and Marin/Trochowski playmaking.

Over the coarse of their careers, I suppose I would agree with you. Around the past 2 years or so, I would rank all around the same bracket. The tactical role excuse is rather subjective and very hypothetical to say the least, but I'll let people keep using it over and over again.

Horrible teams is not a good indicator of how good teams are, and I already explained this before. You literally completely evaded my points (purposely) and wrote a rhetorical question that you know the answer to.

How easy were we really? At the knock-out stages, most people saw Portugal as the team to beat. We beat them and then Turkey who beat a very good Croatian team who by the kicked our ass. Germany simply chose to step up when needed to and that's why they went as finalists. Who on the other side was so great, the Dutch who always fail when it matters, Italy who was in its poorest form I cant remember along with an average coach or Russia who we beat both times in the qualification? Right there was Spain, but there was a good reason both teams were finalists and a good one why Spain won. It's always amusing seeing people and how they rate teams before the knock-out stage games happen and after the entire tournament is over as well as right before the tournament. After the tourney is over, so many become all knowing as they could see which teams are the best and which aren't.

I REALLY hope Loew gives Marin some playing time since it is just a friendly. He deserves it.

The game is probably on Sat1 or ARD. If you aren't close to a tv their website probably will have a stream for people located within Germany.

Not sure I'm following the ARD ticker, and they didn't mention who played him in on goal.

Eboue hits the cross-bar after intercepting Lahm's poorly headed back pass.

Trochowski plays Kiessling through but his pass is just a little too long for Kiessling to reach. The anouncer mentions that Ivory Coast's defense are having a difficult time dealing with his pace.

Eboue dances around Lahm and makes a run into the box. Wiese saves.

Lahm having a terrible match so far.

Kiessling wins a corner, Westermann heads it on goal, but Boka clears it off the line.
