Good choice there Apple - pretty nostalgic stuff - sorta reminds you of what football should be - anytime, any place, anwhere. Out of interest, has anyone here been to Brasil? As soorbob said, that Nike cagefootball promotion circa WC02 was pretty cool. Inspired me alot. I must have watched that video on the Nikefootball website at least 100 times. Ryan Giggs at home during WC02 was pretty funny too... The Adidas campaign was awesome, featuring Platini, Beckenbauer etc. My favourite though, has to be Reebok's Dennis Bergkamp ad, with the cheese. PURE GENIUS! For me, it's got to be 'Park Life'....it had everything, I could probably listen to the opening dialogue 300 times and still find it funny, its a class song + class players!! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l_-9mnnkqc"]YouTube- Parklife Nike Ad[/ame] I'm with R + W, the Nike/adidas stuff for the WC'02 was unreal, 'The Cage' had everyone checking out nikefootball.com, I'm pretty sure they introduced NikeID on footy boots around that time too. Elvis got a another UK number 1, kid's were breaking necks all over the place tryin to be Henry + Totti, and I even got one of those silver balls for 30 boo!! Adidas' 'Fever' ads were just pure slapstick!! I love the pre-tournament ads, really builds them up, but I haven't really seen a classic since Nike's 2006 Joga Bonito stuff.. For me, Nike has always been far more inventive ranging from Cantona's "au revoir" in the 'Good Vs Evil' ad, to 'Joga Bonito: The Chain' The release of the ad's are far more staggered, I'm not a massive fan of the adidas stuff out at the minute, an ad with stevie g and dbeck has soooo much potential, but instead it's a massssssive let down + mega corny!! I'm hoping both pull some cheeky viral's out've the bag for the 2010!

And let us not all forget the infamous Umbro 'dog at the bus stop' ad. Wasn't exactly on TV for long, if at all.

Giggs at home was brilliant. I have them all on a disc that came free from Reebok. I also have the full WC02 ads from nike on a disc that came in a special 'Scorpion' boxset with rules of the game, chalk to draw out your pitch. A chain with a series of dog tags on so when you won a game you took one of the opponets tags. Anyhow, I think Nike tend to make the best football adverts but here is one i liked from Adidas.
