Texian Army events, Playoff edition: Thursday, 10/29/2009 - Dynamo @ Seattle: TA viewing party at the Mezz. Game time is 9:00 p.m. but getting to the Mezz early just makes sense. Sunday, 11/8/2009 - Dynamo v. Seattle: Pregame ($5 all you can drink) at Robertson Stadium starting at 11:00 am. Game time is 2:00 pm at Robertson. Post-game at the Mezz. We'll be somewhere on November 12 or 14 for the Western Conference final after the Dynamo advance. Watch this space.
I volunteer to be commander in chief of alcohol consumption. There is no food at the tailgate, correct? Expect me there at 10 am sucking on a Lone Star/Shiner half and half, with a King Kong Nachos from Chacho's and a Chicken Fried Steak in my lap. After the game I will reprise my role of passing out on the outdoor picnic benches at the mezz.
King Kong Nachos FTW!!! My roommates buddy from England came to visit here and he decided to take him to Chachos. The dude took one look at the King Kong Nachos and turned to my roommate and said "This is why you are all fat". King Kong Nachos are forever imprinted in that guys perception of American Cuisine hahahaha
North I-45?, Hmmm, I do remember either a place call Chachos or a very similar name, if that is indeed a Chachos, then I see it easily 2 or 3 times a week. Funny how you see but you don´t really watch your surroundings.
Looks like there is one on I-45 that opened since I left H-Town. I always went to the one on Westheimer and knew it as the only one in Houston. Looks like they have expanded to 3 stores in Houston, I know that there is one in SA and Austin as well. I can't recall having the carne guisada there, but I love the salsa verde and the cilantro salsa.
I-45 and Tidwell on the North side. Been there for well over a year now. I don't know where the other is, besides Westheimer.

same here. i have the money for the airfare, i have a free game ticket, a free car ride and a free place to stay in LA. problem is i moved an important meeting to Friday from 2 weeks ago, so i could go to Seattle. doh!!! if this was Saturday both my daughter and i would made it. sht i bet the Dynamo fans going would of # in the 100s.
