The Dynamo played a great game today, and the Houston fans were out in force making plenty of noise and a great spectacle. Good win Houston, and good luck going forward.

We appreciate it. I know you have few veterans but I think the real difference was how many experienced players we had vs. Seattle.

We have had players on the field who have won MLS Cups some players multiple Cups (Stuart Holden, Ricardo Clark, Brian Ching, Pat Onstad, Corey Ashe, Geoff Cameron, Mike Chabala, Brian Mullan--on the bench Wade Barrett, Eddie Robinson, Craig Waibel). This is a lot of people in the locker room and on the field that have done this "rodeo" before and I think this the little difference.

We hope to have a great rivalry with Seattle. Continue to set the bar high. Every MLS team needs the push.

Thank you to the Seattle Sounders supporters. I'm confident we'll do this again, same time, next year.

Congrats. We didn't stand a chance this game with how well your midfield played. Here's hoping you all make the final.

Did it occur to anybody else that Seattle (who I guess is the farthest team from Houston) sent more fans to Houston than Dallas ever has? :D Way to go, Seattle, the game always looks cooler when there are away supporters with flags, etc. I wish we could have had more time to plan our trip to Seattle, more could have gone and maybe we would have had a more impressive presence at Qwest.

    Good luck next year, Sounders.

Congratulations on the game guys. I was disappointed but I'll be rooting for you guys in the next playoff game. Quite honestly, I don't know why Seattle has a rivalry with Portland. You guys seem to be a worthier opponent.

I will repeat the phrase, "Congratulations - the better team did win." No other way to say it. We knew it was going to be a war. Good luck the rest of the way.

Close this thread before I quit hating Seattle.... Nah, I'll never be quick enough to mute ESPN, so I'll still hate Seattle.

Great series, you guys have a really good team. I'm sure we'll see you same time next year.

Much respect to the travelling Sea-Tac support. I made my way over at the half to show some love, and tell you guys I hope you go home unhappy. I second Brahma - FC Dallas has never shown up like you guys did today. Res'pek!

this thread shows a large amount of class by the sounder fans. your example of sportsmanship will not be forgotten. the visiting fans acted with passion and vigor that i wish all clubs would travel with. you do your city and club well. now please pass along this class and sportsmanship to montero and ljundberg.

Watching todays match it struck me that our greatest need is depth. Congrats on a series well played, we had our chances and just could not finish, story of our season really. And Pat Onstad was a beast in goal.

At anyrate good luck going forward, I know I will be hoping you guys win.

A great game for the fan. I still can't get over how many Sounder fans there were in the stands. Not just in the away section, but peppered throughout the stadium. The gauntlet is thrown in terms of the most passionate fans. This group is tough to keep up with.

This team will be a bogey team for the foreseeable future as long as Ljundberg and Montero are there, they will be a force. The rest of the infrastructure will no doubt continue to mature and improve.

To me, this home and home represented the best MLS had to offer. To me the MLS cup has been won here.

Personally, I think Seattle have a very strong team. With Montero, Ljundberg and Nate, they are one tough hombre I am sure Seattle will be in the playoff again next year..Lastly, I want to salute those dedicated Sounder fans who make the long trip here.:)
