Great job, considering that if we do make it to the Eastern Conference Championship Game it would be a sure sellout and Club Seat Holders would of bought there tickets for that game. Andy great job on this one. Let's hope that the game is going to be played here! GO FIRE!!!!! Beat the ******** out of New England!!!!!!!!
cool i guess will it be on tv? i get off of work at 7 and wouldn't be able to make it but would only miss first 5 minutes or so
I'm not a club STH, so this doesn't really help me, but I still think it's a good sign from the fire. The guys paying the big bucks in the club seats deserve some perks. Seeing as I'm paying like $5/game, I'll forgive the fire for not giving me extra free tickets on top of that price.
They said after the game all season ticket holder have a ticket for the game, not just Club Seat holders.
What did they say? I couldn't make out what they were saying over the intercom. Nothing in my inbox about tickets for next week.
So if the season was over back then according to you, who are you giving your tickets to for Saturday?
They said all season ticket holders don't have to go to the box office to get tickets. They'll be sending out the tickets and they'll email you before they do.
Please correct me if I am wrong , but I am pretty sure that the Fire has never lost a home playoff game. Also, the higher seed between the Fire and Revs has always advanced. It was so sweet to see how that perfectly executed Blanco goal went sailing over Reiss with Reiss just standing there like a dork. This may have been the biggest Fire first round playoff win ever and it is because of the way it was done, they have never come back to win a series when they lost the first game and the fact that they knew they had to win by 2 goals in regulation against a team that was going to play 11 behind the ball with and experienced coach.
Our playoff home record: Code: Stadium W L D GF GA PTS SF, Naperville, and NSF 10 1 4 31 9 34 TOYOTA Park 4 0 0 7 0 12 Totals 14 1 4 38 15 46 One of the wins was in overtime (New England), our loss was in overtime (Los Angeles and two of the draws we ended up winning in shootouts (Colorado and Los Angeles). We scored one overtime goal (New England) and we gave up one overtime goal (Los Angeles). If you count both of our shootout wins as wins then it's 12-1-2-31-9-34 and our overall record is 16-1-2-38-15-46
I think it just means they will allow STH a chance to buy their own seats for the playoffs. Tickets are already on sale, and I've not received any emails from the Fire.
That's sucks I swear they said all season tickets holders will get tickets for the Championship game. We should get the same kind crowd on Saturday as we did last night. With a win we are playing for MLS CUP 2009!!!!!! GO FIRE!!!!!!!!!!
I hated that game. That prick, Cobi, sitting in the middle of the field pretending to be injured, accumulating the same number of minutes as the entire of stoppage time.... as if nothing happened in the rest of the half. What year was that?
Your season tickets are reserved. Meaning you can purchase your season ticket location. They said you didn't need to buy them after the game because they would be sending an e-mail on how to get them. I got the e-mail after 4:00 today and loved how it said "we are open on Sunday from noon to 6:00". Send out the e-mail a little earlier maybe.
Is the absence of a separate thread for Saturday's match indicative of a problem, i.e that it's hard to find a focused hatred for RSL? With NE, it's always easy: Matt Reis, our history with them, Matt Reis. With RSL though...I'm struggling. Jason Kreis? Does it rhyme with Reis? No? Then what can we aim our bile towards? Beckerman's locks? Clint Mathis in general?
