Did this guy really just say after they win MLS cup? Hahaahaha Chivas give out so many free tickets on top of that. Don't they only have less than 1k STH? lol. I know 13k people are not buying tickets ahead of time for their games. Regardless we'll let the scoreboard do the talking.
When we eliminate the galaxy not only your eyes are going to hurt jajajaj U know I’m having fun here with you guys …keep it coming..andele andele
i hope the 20 galaxy fans that were at the game took notes on how to electrify the HDC, CUSA blew that place up yesterday...BTW u may have more fans at home games, too bad theyre all asleep ..oh wait they occasinaly wake up when becks touches the ball LOL id be embarrased if i was a LAG fan, 13 years in the league and no real fan support..okay im off to our NON existent CUSA board...see ya there metiches!! LOL
step 1 - pay a marching band and a set of teenage cheerleaders to provide the majority of noise. at least seattle's marching band are fans of the team. step 2 - throw streamers at your goalie delaying the game when you're tied at home. step 3 - have the announcer tell all of the non-bandmembers, jailbait and trannies when to cheer. step 4 - hold up low resolution, crappy black and white photocopies of some chivas player step 5 - fail to sell out a home play-off game even with our help. did I miss anything? most passionate fans in the league
i was at the game yesterday, and from outside, it looked like there was about an even amount of chivas and galaxy fans. from inside, it looked like a lot more chivas. But then again on the way out, it looked like a lot of galaxy fans.... even with as many galaxy fans attending, i was REALLY surprised they didn't even bother opening up the upper deck... i was expecting a sellout since the usual galaxy home games against chivas are sold out, but i was really surprised they couldn't do better for a playoff game like this. overall a pretty good atmosphere though. no problems. there were a lot of galaxy fans in section 109 where i was, as well as chivas fans. we'd cheer for our respective teams and there was some good natured jabs here and there but nothing remotely ugly at all. THAT was a welcome sight. props to the riot squad and ACB for even being able to compete with a marching band. we managed to hear the galaxy cheers OVER the marching band from the other side of the stadium. didn't hear anything from the chivas supporters sections.... then again, i wasn't paying any attention to them either.....
Poor Chivas. They put the marching band right next to ACB and LARS in a bid to drown them out, but it just ended up adding instrumental backing to the "FU Chivas" chants.
Really? Never noticed them before, but I'll take your word for it. I don't think it's a coincidence they put it next to the Galaxy Supporter's section though.
bullshit. they weren't there at the last chivas/galaxy home game so they're not ALWAYS there. and again for supposedly having the best fans in the league having to bring in professional noise makers to provide the bulk of your sound and then have the gall to say we're passionless fans is the height or irony. y'all can just ******** off with your delusional claims.
professional noise makers? please explain. did not know there was such a profession. BTW Chivas always have a HS band there. its a way to make new fans out the local youth.
you're worng we always have a band of the game theya re alwasy in that same section. This one was bigger than usual but that because the band is biigger at the scholl that was honored. The away fans are always in 138. Nothing out of the ordinary yesterday. LAX did bring the crowd and the noise and from what I heard it was all done in a peacful orderly fashion. Kudos to all involved lets hope for a repeat Sunday
Dude. When the Galaxy get a corner, everybody in our supporters section raises their scarf and makes as much noise as they can. When your team gets a corner....."ARRIBA CHIVAS!!".....Nothing more need be said.
people keep saying this, but there was either no band during the last chivas home game against the galaxy or it consisted of three guys in red stripes blowing their kazoos. but staw man arguments aside, my point still stands, for a group of fans who feel it necessary to come tell us every time what great and passionate fans they are and we should be embarassed: we don't bring in marching bands*, we don't have cheerleaders, we don't have the stadium announcer tell the fans to cheer, we didn't co-opt a hundred year old brand and ride their coat-tails of fandom, we don't have stadiums filled one-third to one-half capacity most games. the only time you guys have atmosphere is when we're there to provide it. * to be completely fair i have seen a marching band later in the season
This is a huge thing for me. Cheesey, cynical, commercial...especially related to a team that so proudly represents culture and tradition before all else. If they didn't use that name, I wonder if they'd have been able to get many fans at all, what with the Galaxy already existing. And before the CUSA fans start to claim that Chivas USA represents their culture - I'm sure that's just what Jorge wants you to think. After all, is Chivas Hefei there to represent China's burgeoning Mexican population?
Uh I rather have a announcer yell "arriba chivas" to get 15,000 people screaming than to have 300 supporters hold their pretty scarfs trying to make noise in which nobody can hear. just saying.
