I won the Eredivisie and the Dutch Cup w/out Chivu. And I got teams making offers for John O'Brien. I have now become the USA NT Manager as well as Ajax manager!! O'Brien was almost sold to Juve and Inter for about $19 million USD.

I fell asleep on Trabelsi's contract and he's joining Man Utd in January of 2004. Oh well, I've got Ricardo Clark, S. Seedorf, N. de Jong, Maxwell, Jelle Van Damme to hold the line still. Mido and Ibrahimovic own, Pius Ikedia does great and Van der Vaart is the Rock in the MC or ML. He takes FK and corners. Van der Meyde broke his leg then tore his groin..so he's been about about 5 out of 5.5 months.

But I managed in the Gold Cup. Got to Brazil and lost 3-1. Brazil called up Rivaldo , Ronaldo, Gaucho , Denilson, the whole A-List team. Not F'N Fair for the GOLD CUP!?!? and I lost 3rd place on Penalties. Goddamned Penalties to Costa Rica.

ive just finished my 1st season with ajax, finished 2nd to psv, made it to the 2nd group stage and got 3rd place (barely missed 2nd), and idk how but i lost in the semi final of the dutch cup to utretch..

    major signing= sonck (averaging 1.5g a game)
lucky free signings= castillo (some colombian mid who all my coaches expect to be a great player), ricardo oliv...dont remember...some brazilian forward who my coaches also expect to be great.

i dont know why but NO ONE will buy my players. i have transfer listed bergdolmo, machlas, and wamberto. i have lowered the asking price, offered to interested clubs, etc but i will only get loan offers. it sucks. i need some $$$ and the board will only give like 3.8m euros a yr.

    1. Hire highly rated but Unproven coaches.
    2. Loan people out.
    3. When you transfer list a player also make him 'Not Needed by the Club'
    4. Don't be afraid to sell your best players for big dough. You can spend it on undiscovered South Americans

Right now he's on the Reserve Team as he's only 18-19. He may stay there all season. As Seedorf is currently ahead of him in Progress. But offers will start to pour in for Players like De Jong and O'Brien I also have Quaranta as a Striker on the Reserve team as well.

My Coaches say he's doing 4 out of 5 star Progress in training. Which is good for me and him. In the same Season Claudio Reyna has joined Real Madrid from Sunderland (yes I'll say it again) Claudio Reyna has joined Real Madrid from Sunderland.

Not available Stateside. You have to order from a UK games site or Ebay or something. I got mine sent to me from a Relative.

I had one game where Brian McBride was signed by Barcelona, (guess that Kluivert guy wasn't cutting it...)

In that very same Game, McBride went to Malaga and I sold John O'Brien to Deportivo for 22 Million USD and Bocanerga went to Preston. but I'm not sure for how much.

I've bought Clint Mathis to Old Trafford and made him a star. He's Van Nistelrooy's partner of choice. Last year he finished with 16 goals and 6 assists. This year he has 10 goals and 5 assists in 11 games with a 7.78 average ranking. I've tried to get Freddy Adu, but can't sign him even when I appeal the initial rejection. Eddie Pope has moved to Liverpool for 4.8 million dollars and is a regular starter in the backline.

I just checked with an editor and by my count, 19 players started the game at age 14 or younger. And two started at 13.

Do whatever you can to become US Nats manager then you can put Adu on the US NT and get him some caps.

I'm going to have to become national manager because it pains me to see him wasting away, playing for the Vancouver Whitecaps.

What you can do is..try to watch all the US NT matches that come up. If they lose and Bruce gets fired Apply for the Job. But you'll need a successful season at Liverpool (I.E. Winning the FA Cup or Prem) and hopefully you'll convince the USSF

    Trouble Selling Players
I have the CD version of CM4 for my PC and have downloaded Enhancement Pack 5 successfully, which makes my verion 4.0.8. However, I'm having some major problems running a game in Major League Soccer (America).

First, I can't sell my players for anything. I'm talking about skillful players at decent salaries with asking prices as low as $0. I set their transfer status to Not Needed, list them for loan . . . still no offers whatsoever.

If I try to release players on a free transfer the board ALWAYS blocks me because "the player is too important a first team player." This happens even to players that haven't played a minute of the season and I have designated as Not Needed By Club.

I figure this MUST be a bug in the system. Got any solutions?

    Re: CM4 trouble selling players

It's hard to sell players in MLS on CM4. If I want to get rid of somebody, I usually just wait until the beginning of the season and leave them off the roster when you go to submit it.
