Anyone see it yet ? I hear great thing about it. Does anyone know any Torrents that are going around for it ?
VR is going to get jealous... Gimme a sec to use my Indian powers. edit: all i can find are french streams. I didn't check to see if they work
i watched this on the flight over from Boston to London on Saturday night. it was good and i really enjoyed it. if you get a chance to see it be sure you do.
I've been searching for it on torrents forever, can't find jack. When the DVD drops in the UK I think we'll be sorted.
Really enjoyed it. I think it is a film that a Manc, a football supporter a casual fan and one who knows nothing of the sport could all enjoy AND discuss after. Refreshing. I thought it was rather well done. Eric was excellent. There's no reason he can't be a star in film. Interestingly enough, if not for the accent, he'd have made a fantastic Bond. Few people can pull off some of those lines (the "I am not a man. I am Cantona!" specifically) like he did, and make it seem so natural.
watched this again recently... what a great movie. seek it out if you haven't seen it yet. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJTQ8NPZgws"]YouTube - Looking for Eric - Teaser[/ame]
It's actually quite obvious. There are a number of FC United shirts easily spotted in the film. But don't listen to me, I'm just a dumb Yank.
Au contrair... if you figured that out then fair play to you the pub scene "two Uniteds" is very sobering and sad..... if poking your head back into the window shows one thing in that scene, then if it tugs on your heart strings then there is hope! again it has nothing to do with this xenophobia... does it?
Lol that is one of my favorite scenes.....he's goin off about FC United, and then pops right back in. Regardless of where you stand on anything, that's an amazing film. And it does show that at the heart of all this, it's still United.
haha...i did some tweets about this but just a strange coincidence. i was talking about the movie with my brother who never saw it earlier in the week and then decided to watch it again.
Watched it again after this thread got bumped....really awesome. You could know nothing about footy or United and still love it, because at its core its a good film. Cantona does a pretty legit job as well.
