As a disclaimer to any lurking Santa Clara or Michigan fans (are there UM soccer fans?), this is not official, but I believe SCU wins over UM, 3-1. So, it looks as if IU will play SCU next weekend. I hate to repeat myself, but I'm so happy for Coach Yeagley and so proud of the way the Hoosiers played. They've come so far this season. I wish I were a team mom so I could send cookies!!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe they won this match. I really thought they would have lots of trouble, but they showed lots of heart and discipline to go to Columbus (and get me a trip there!!!). I was really impressed by Josh Tudela. He seems to be filling in really well without Grabavoy. Might've been IU's best man on the pitch. Also, how clutch is Pat Yates? Is anyone as good as him when the team needs a goal? So it's on to Santa Clara on Friday. Wow.
Goooooooooooooooo HOOSIERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! go mr. november Mr. Patty Yates!!!!!!!!! I called the upset!!!!!!! Gooo HOOSIERS!!!!!!!!!
Yes, we're quite proud of Josh down here in Evansville! Great job by the entire team and Coach Yeagley and the staff! GO HOOSIERS! Let's drink some brews!
I can't believe I am gonna have to try to get off work friday night now. This is *#*#*#*#in magic. C'mon IU.
Irish Lion = good brews Flip1178, Did they have the radio coverage turned up at the Irish Lion? It's been quite a while since I've sat down there and had a few beers (or more) and talked soccer with my friends. I hope you'll be able to attend the TWO games in Columbus. Please, make certain that you stand up and yell/jingle your keys on every corner for me!
Paybacks are hell and this one had to be especially sweet for Yeagley. In 1997 the Hoosiers went undefeated in the regular season and entered the final four with a record of 23-0. This was a team that had Nick Garcia, Lazo Alavanja, Chris Klein, and the Ukranian connection (Aleksey Korol, Dema Kovalenko, Yuri Lavrinenko) but lost to UCLA 1-0 in the 3rd overtime. This was sweet revenge.
Major congratulations to IU. This is just a great story and going out to LA and beating the No. 1 team and defending NCAA champs just makes it even better. IU is playing like a team of destiny and showing amazing character at the same time. Like Santa Clara, for them to make the Final Four playing without their best defender and best attacker is amazing. They deserve a major tip of the hat.

Anyone have information on Santa Clara? Are there any good storylines, besides their goalkeeper being gone? Looking for something extra for the broadcast on Friday.
2 day old game reports Sandon, I am not sure if there was any sarcasm in your post, however there may be some real value in providing links after everyone has read the game reports 2 days earlier. What about those new Big Soccer members joining in the last 2 days? What about new ISP subscribers logging on in the past 2 days? Hoser United; Yes, I have info on the broncos; you will own them with your home field advantage and your coach. You should be looking past them and concentrate on the Terps. Does IU have enough money to outbid Sasho for the referees? Watch him in the St Johns game. He will show his colors again on the big stage. Too bad UIS beat the Elephants and u won't have Grabavoy and Moor. Fatty: What will u be wearing, er, eating at the semis?
