uncovering might be the wrong word, but still, for those of us in the US (most of us here on this board) we wouldn't have known.

Yeah, well unfortunately here, the only news you get on a regular basis is MLS and EPL news.

Its crazy how hard it is to be a Bundesliga fan in the states.

There are probably more Cocacola Championship games on ESPN 360 than Bundesliga games on goltv.

Yeah, I don't know why there isn't more Bundesliga on TV in the states. There is great atmosphere during the games, not to mention plenty of goals.

It's not horrendous - four games this weekend:

    Friday: Schalke - Wolfsburg (Goltv)
    Saturday: Hannover - Dortmund (Goltv)
    Bayern - Nürnberg (ESPN Deportes)
Sunday: Leverkusen - Bremen (Goltv tape delayed)

    The future of Jermaine Jones

How close is Jermaine Jones to recovering from his injury? Will he be called up? And is it a good decision for the US team? Where would he fit in the lineup?

Thoughts on Jermaine Jones in the red, white, and blue?

The comment I would make is how well he would fit with other players. His English isn't great, he's aggressive and temperamental, and it appears that his switch to the US team is motivated more by ego than allegiance to a particular side.

Hopefully he is smarter on the field than off. Some of his comments are ridiculous.

So isn't incorrectly titled, and in the wrong forum?

I'd suggest it be moved to USMNT N&A, and change "Yank Abroad" to "Member of the USMNT."

Yes. Jones was always already a Yank Abroad, but finally received clearance to play for the US. While this is good news, it's not really YA-related in the strict sense. Do we have an official "Jones at Schalke [R]" thread? I'd merge this thread with that one...

Which ones? I have yet to see this ever backed up. Just lots of poor translations or misquotations. It almost seems like there is an agenda to paint him as some out-of-control hooligan. It's just bizarre.
