Having seen what they have put out there for the EPL teams this year, I fear that the pinstripe black will be more bad than good... I hope I am wrong. But then the jersey makers could only make their money once and they couldn't have that.... Honestly, I would like to see a better selection of auxiliary paraphenalia rather than a different jersey every two years. I often find the Crew T-Shirt selection to be lacking and I need an update on my black polo (it's a little faded).
It's been "suggested" by various fans that they go to a multi-colored system. Black or white star = 1 cup Silver star = 3 cups Gold star = 5 cups Winning seven cups would get you one gold star and two black or white stars, depending on the color of the shirt.

I'd be fine with this... i think it might look better as yellow with black stripes though...the black shirts we have now are awesome.
This is some good stuff. I say if we are to lose our current black jerseys, I'd be ok with adopting something like this.
I wouldnt mind something a lil off the wall seeing as we wear it less than 5 times a year anyway. I love that over the past 2 years we have established the all yellows as "kit-we-will-always-wear-unless-the-home-team-conflicts" (or we want to piss off DC). I hope that practice is permanent.
If it was yellow with black stripes it would look dead on like the USSF referee jersey. I like the black with yellow pin concept. I just hope they keep it simple. If they get too busy with the pin stripes then we'll end up looking like a barcode. That said I'm probably the only one who like the charcoal kits we wore for the open cup almost a decade ago. So I'm probably not one to listen to for jersey opinions
Far from the only one...they're kind of a cult classic around here. I really like our black shirt this year, but business is business and all good things must come to an end. But I'd be perfectly fine with a black shirt that resembles the mockup pretty closely. I'd probably even talk myself in to finally getting a Schelotto jersey.
Amen! Every Crew shirt looks exactly the same, and their offerings as far as polos/sweatshirts/jackets range from horrible to non-existant. Oh, and MLSGear is the weakest online sports retail site in America.
I think we should go back to the white/yellow striped jersey. It was by far the best looking jersey we have ever had IMHO. Go Crew!!!! I am not just saying that because I have one. Well, maybe, but the statement is still accurate.
