How the front line up look like..Landin with Ching !!.. how come Dom always stay with the 2-4-4 formation..why not 3-3-4 :) I would like to see Chabala play more minutes..he got the speed , he is definitely an asset to Dynamo down the road..

Jeez. such pessimism (sp) !:( I really believe we are poised to get our act together and start heading in those balls. You know them, the ones that rattled the goal post, skimmed the top of the bar, and the ones just to the right or left of the post. It seems likely that our forwards, like seasons before, come up with the clutch goal that advances us or puts the game into the win column.;)

You gotta believe it. You gotta show it and Most of all, We all gotta shout it at the next home game, not for us. But for the team. for the boys.

It must be the Everton pessimism effecting his judgement....

Big match this week between two of the top 3 teams (LA being the other).

Hope everyone who makes the trip has a good time, except for the final result, of course. ;)

With Marshall and Rogers unlikely to start or see significant time in the Wed qualifier, I'm assuming we'll be at full strength.

    -------------Hesmer-------------
    Hejduk--Marshall---Brunner--Padula

Back 5 pretty set in stone, though O'Rourke could start for Brunner. Depending on what RW does with the midfield. Hopefully, we've seen the last of the Carroll/O'Rourke CM pairing, but who sits, and who claims the other CM spot (Moffat, Gaven) is anyone's guess. Rogers will start at LM, and Ekpo or Gaven at RM.

GBS should be a go, but who will pair him (Moreno, Lenhart, or Renteria) is still a question.

Odd to have so many question marks about the lineup this late in the season, but we really haven't been 100% healthy yet.

You now, I haven't seen many of those opportunities at all in the last month. First step is actually get those chances, then we can start talking about finishing them.

    Heh...no.

I just think our form has been flat. If it were anyone other than Columbus, then I might be a bit more optimistic. But I'm just thinking that our form combined with how well Columbus is doing isn't a good mix.

I just noticed that my Uverse channel guide now shows this game at 4:30 pm on Sunday.

And also available on the Fox Sports Houston HD channel.

The 11.2 channel guide at khou.com shows the program starting at 4 pm but extending until 6:30 pm.

Wasn't the last time you were in Houston for the Columbus game as well? Only reason I recall was b/c you were filming me w/ my digital camera and I never get on film. LOL

Oh yes, and good memory on your part.

I kinda got worried when that vid didn't make it on youtube (you had all of them minus that one) and I thought I f'd up and nothing came out.

Next time I'll let the pros handle the video production.;)

Hmm. When I went to go set my DVR (Directv) to record the game it showed an Astros game scheduled for Sunday afternoon at that time. Anyone else see the same thing on their channel guide?

I just saw on Kei's Facebook that he isn't going to be in Columbus this weekend. I don't know if a personal emergency came up or what but I thought it was interesting.

I thought I'd read it here, but it was somewhere, he has a problem with his hamstring or something like that, I forget what, it doesn't sound serious but it's also not getting better, and he pulled out of practice (yesterday?) and wasn't going to make the trip. He looks like he's been playing injured for a while I think.

Bernardo had mentioned Kamara's continuing problems w/quad injury in his blog post that someone put up in the ERob thread, re Eddie and Weaver back in practice. Here's all that info in story for Sat's paper
does Landin get his first start, or will it be Oduro w/Ching at F?

(updating preview injury report w/injury report for 9/10)
on zap2it.com for FSH, they show Astros Live postgame show for 4:00-4:30, Dynamo from 4:30-6:00. Astros-Pittsburgh is at 1:00. It would be one thing if the baseball game ran over, if they have Cooper's postgame press conference running over the start of the match, I'm not going to be happy.

On Dish it says "JIP" Joined In Progress: Houston Dynamo at Columbus Crew. What a JIP.

You can buy the rest of the season of MLS.net for $10 I think. It's pretty cool cause you can watch it live or later.

This is why I bought an antenna for my TV, my first antenna in God knows how many years, I did a few tests to see if Oak Ridge North area could receive 11.3, and I have to say that I'm impress on the quality of HD channels transmitted by air, here I was thinking that they did it just to get more space (being able to split the broadcast to have more than one channel)

Well, like I've said before (maybe more so on MD) I can get every digital channel but the 11's and 13's, with every indoor antenna I've tried, even the cool home made one that was posted on MD that really works well. I just don't want to put an outdoor antenna up for a couple of games that I can't watch otherwise. I can probably see it on MLS.net if nothing else.

Key game now this Crew-Dynamo one, with Chicago only tying (they are in the race for best overall record) and with the Galaxy (2nd place in West) losing to "the other Texan MLS team" SIX to THREE.

A win would be awesome for HD. Let's hope the Landin Gear works. (I know, baaad pun)
