    I think we will win 5-0. The chances we have created and the snippets I have seen of Torres vs Belgium make me think that Burnley are going to have a very tough match. I am assuming we get no-one injured in the next round of International matches.

    ^ what he said. Pretty much hoping to spank em.

    Riera and Babel both have a problem named Benayoun. I was actually suprised Riera didnt get those starts either but if Kuyts on RW and The Onions in form well the other 2 have to sit.

    I would switch back and forth between 60 mins for riera and 30 for beneyoun and then the other way round, and Babel about 3 mins at centre forward. 4 if we need a goal.

    Thats the form book anyway.

    3 minutes for Babel? You're being generous! ;)

    You know I really wanted for Babel to get going on this team. He did start with a spark but he can't get over being one footed. He was actually better when he only played right footed but he went down when he tried to be an all court player.

    Hmm, mexing my mitifores.

    5 huh, you guys are temping the gods of goals.

    I am not normally so bullish. I just think that the team is creating lots of chances (more shots on goal than any other team). Burnley have knocked us out of Cups before but this match is at Anfield. Torres will light them up.

    His problem is it takes 5 or 6 touches to do anything and by then his only option is to wind up and blast the ball into the nearest defender

    Should be an easy game for The Reds as long as nothing unusual or surprising occurs.

    Liverpool 3-0 Burnley

    i kept hoping that he would get paired up with a good left back who could strike good crosses, and, being right-footed, he would find it easier to make that pass on the overlap, but Aurelio and Babel didn't play together enough to establish a partnership. maybe they don't complement one another.

    Internationals Players of Note:

    Gerrard = 125/180 minutes
    Torres = 120/180 minutes
    Johnson = 180/180 minutes
    Kuyt = 153/180 minutes
    Yossi = 157/180 minutes
    Voronin = 67/180 minutes
    Reina = 0/180 minutes
    Riera = 25/180 minutes
    Kyriagkos = 180/180 minutes
    Mascherano = 180/180 minutes (2 losses for Argentina!!!!!)
    Skrtel = 180/180 minutes
    Babel = 0/180 minutes (ouch)
    Lucas = 0/180 minutes

    This may or may not dictate Rafa's thinking.

    Plus, Mascherano has a trans-Atlantic flight to catch to contend with. I see him starting on the bench in which case, I see a 4-4-2 with Gerrard and Lucas in the middle. Or Aurelio and Lucas, actually. It's Burnley, after all. Hey, wait a minute!

    I think it will dictate Rafa's thinking. Especially since we have Champions League a few days later.

    I also hope the mentality of our players is good. They have all been away playing crucial World Cup qualifiers. The thought of Burnley has probably not crossed their mind. Meanwhile, Burnley's players have had 2 weeks to focus on nothing but Liverpool.

    Mascherano will likely be rested. He did travel all the way across the world and suffer two disastrous defeats as captain of Argentina. It might take him a few days to be ready to contribute to Liverpool 100%.

    Leave Lucas deep and play Gerrard and Benny behind Torres with Riera on the left.

    I would really like to see that, since i think Mascherano has been way off form and Lucas will hold better the DM position. I really hope Gerrard plays alongside him, so we can deploy Benni,Riera and Kuyt upfront.

    I'm very glad to see ESPN2 is carrying the match--finally I can watch my beloved Reds in HD!

    Does anyone know if it's being broadcast on ESPN2 nationwide, or only in select areas?

    Thanks in advance!
