I guess that statement sums up everything about you. Unfortunately, it's people like this person who are making football what it is today. And the most unfortunate thing is that he's becoming the majority. They don't want competition, they want a circus. A circus like what's in US sports because that is what they're used to. It's sad what's going to happen to this game.

You've obviously misunderstood everything. I don't consider England better then Russia. You do because you think Lampard and Heskey are so great. Well, hate to break it to you, they're not.

I never said Lampard and Heskey are great. Just go and jerk off to Ronaldinho, fanboy.

I've never rated Ronaldinho. Even when all you cunts thought he was the best in the world. Either way, you're the one who said England would have been in the Euros if there was no qualification. Not me.

His point was that you said you wouldn't watch if Italy, Spain and England got knocked out in the qualifying. The implication being that you just want big name teams and big name players, regardless of whether they earned the right to be there or not.

Once you start giving teams byes because of popularity or traditional strength, it becomes a circus chasing ratings, not a sporting contest.

I don't attend or watch games with teams I don't care about. Without Italy, Spain and England there is nothing worth watching in my opinion.

And it would still be a sporting contest if Croatia was replaced by England. In boxing the champ don't always fight the second ranked guy, or even top five. Does that mean it's not a contest any more? That makes no sense.

Thank you for proving my point, fanboy.

Just look over what you've written. If you can't see what a plastic you are, then you are just hopeless. At least some people just come out say that they're bandwagon-jumpers.

Just because I don't watch every game with teams I don't give a fuck about that makes me plastic? You stupid fucking Americans never stop to amaze me. I guess being broke and fat isn't enough. Jesus.

No. The fact that you are completely uninterested in games that don't feature "glamour" teams does.

Completely irrelevant. I don't have any kind of relationship with the teams or it's fans or the countries so why should I care. Has nothing to do with being plastic. If to not be plastic you have to watch every game being played then everyone on this site is plastic.

The term "plastic fan", while possibly applied too broadly and with overdone contempt, typically tends to mean a supporter only attracted by the glamour (and who'll naturally support a top club).

That is the implication of your attitude of not being interested in games not involving particular teams. You don't have to care about every game, nor even watch every game, but having no interest at all in anything else is a strange attitude.

Obviously I'm exaggerrating. I'd probably end up watching every game anyway. If Italy and England is not in it it goes from being a 10 in importance to a 3 for me. If that makes me plastic so be it.

I would love there to be a super league. It would be a massive game every week.

Then it would get boring. It's a big deal when Juve play Liverpool, but when it's every week, it'll get redundant.

Champions League its a succesfully competion.Other soccer football association took this model. Also others sports(handball, Ice hockey) took this model.Seeing barca- real, milan -inter, its nice..See too often, it would become boaring.
The club will never split from Uefa's competitions. This action would destroy this teams.
Clubs get important amount of money from the transfers made thanks to the player contribution in events organized by Uefa, such European Championship or Fifa's World Cup.
Lets chill...its just silly pressure from the big teams, to get more money from Uefa!:D

Of course it will never happen but it would be nice.

It would ruin other clubs though, smaller clubs that don't finish in the European spots.

You think United v Arsenal in EPL is boring? See that happens twice a year. I don't think it ever gets boring.

The only time I find any EPL matches boring are when it is 0-0 with very little chances, other than that the games are great especially the top four versus top four clashes.

Exactly. With a European Superleague it'd be like that all the time. You can't get tired of that. It's like great sex. It never gets boring. If it did it wouldn't be great.
