1.River Plate vs Boca Jrs 2.Real Madrid vs Barcelona 3.Peñarol vs Nacional Others: Internazionale vs AC Milan & Flamengo vs Fluminense
Exactly; if was about the level of the teams and the players in the history, I'd say: 1. Barcelona - Real Madrid 2. Liverpool - Manchester United 3. AC Milan - Inter Milan
I know it said club rivalries, but why do you think I put in parenthasis "(international play)"? -REV610
It's lost it's significance a bit because Feyenoord is awful and does not challenge for the title anymore.
It's not getting much love in this thread, but people die over Roma-Lazio. The derby della capitale is up there with any game in terms of passion and hatred.
IMO, something is taken out of the Milan derby due to the fact that both teams play at the San Siro. It's still a highly competitve and atmospheric game but there isn't as much of that home side/away side element to it which makes a lot of the other derbies so heated.
Based on fan passion only: 1. Celtic - Rangers 2. Fenerbahce - Galatasaray 3. West Ham - Millwall [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKzEB0eDV7E"]YouTube - Hooligan Krieg bei London Derby (West Ham United - FC Millwall 3:1n.V.)[/ame] Not cool at all.
Oh okay.. in German it is usually written with Glasgow sport1.de big German sport site for example http://www.sport1.de/dynamic/datencenter/sport/team/fussball/celtic-glasgow/ http://www.sport1.de/dynamic/datencenter/sport/team/fussball/glasgow-rangers
I'm fairly certain that Rangers have never used Glasgow in their name. I know for a fact that Celtic have never used it since the club was formed by Brother Walfrid. He didn't want to call the club Glasgow Celtic in case it put off people from outwith Glasgow coming to support the club.
I don't say you are wrong. I'm sure you know better than me how to write it in English. I just tried to explain why I wrote it that way.
