Pablo is still suspended for the elbow to Hianault Smith is out injured until the playoffs at the earliest Clark is out for the season injured Gibbs is out injured for another 2-3 weeks, listed as doubtful Palguta is expected to be available this week but is listed as probable Casey is one yellow from suspension, but if he can make it through this 2-game road trip without picking it up he'll go back to needing 2 yellows before suspension Ballouchy, Cummings, Gibbs, and Palguta are 2 yellows from suspension For Toronto: Carl Robinson - Questionable Sanyang, Serioux - Suspended for their red cards last week DeRosario - 1 yellow from suspension Vitti - 2 yellows from suspension Danny Dichio retired this morning to make room for Canadian International Jonathon de Guzman who is expected to sign any day with Toronto. Depending on his paperwork he may or may not be available for them this weekend. He's the Canadian National Team's d-mid and would presumably take the same position with TFC.
Any chance we'll see this starting line up with Noonan is a reserve role ? ............ Pickens ........ Harden ... Baudet ... Moor ... Harvey ............ LaBrocca ........... Kimura ... Ballouchy .... Peterson ...... Casey & Cummings
I don't think so. IMO.... Why mess with a back line that worked so well last weeK? Plus, I think Peterson is better on the right than KK is. and IMO Noonan's play has improved over his last few chances. It means litte though, because with Ormar and Casey clicking up top... in the immortal words of the Gheto Boys... "We can't be stopped!"

I am still pissed at Pablo for this. What an idiot. I would like the options for this game on the road a heck of a lot better if LaBroca was available to play out on the right.
I like last week's line-up except with some concerns about Noonan. Would like to see whether Diz might be able to play on the wing. I like LaBrocca much better in the middle than on the wing.
Fixed some stuff in your post. Jonathan is Julian's younger brother, and he plays for Feyenoord. Julian plays more of a box-to-box game for Canada, as opposed to the d-mid role he played at Depor. In his younger days in the Bundesliga, Julian played the box-to-box mid role, and I expect him to return to that role with TFC.
It might not make much difference. The thinking in American soccer is that you're either an a-mid or a d-mid. It's a shame really.
It'll be Medhi, he's waaaaaaaaaay over due. I swear one of these days he gonna get four. Most snakebitten Rapid ever?
Taken from NoFanAlone: http://nofanalone.com/?p=1189 I'm guessing that Ballouchy is trying to get a green card. There's something about that process IIRC that forces you to stay in the country for a certain amount of time. Pablo, you're an idiot. His head-hunting really hurts now. We're looking at a lineup of: Pickens Moor - Palguta - Baudet - Harvey LaBrocca Kimura - Noonan - Peterson Cummings - Casey And a bench of: Burpo, Harden, Dalby, Diz, Schunk, Holody, Valentino And that's all the players that are healthy, not suspended, and able to leave the country. We barely make the 18-man travel roster limit.
Well, we certainly didn't need a reserve division this season with all the playing time our backups are getting
I reckon Noonan will be more useful in the middle anyway. His lack of pace was pretty badly exposed on the wing.
Dalby should get that start instead of Noonan in Mehdi's (so-called) place. O'Brien would be handy about now, isn't the USL-1 season winding down/already over? Or if the Aztek's are out of the hunt anyway can he be recalled?
I'm guessing that since we're taking advantage of the rule that allows O'Brien (and Ceus) to not count against our roster cap limit if they are on season-long loan that means they are not available to us under any circumstances. (Currently we have 25 players on our 24 man roster, including 5 of an allowed 4 development players)
Call me crazy, but even missing all those players I don't think this looks too terribly bad. That combo of Noonan LaBroca in the middle might be a pretty good way to use those two guys.
I haven't seen anything from Dalby which makes me think he would be better in the middle. What makes you think this?
TV for Sat? Consulting the Comcast listings, I see only PPV as a way of watching the match on Saturday. Am I missing anything here?
Re: TV for Sat? Its on Universal Sports. I noticed two weeks ago when the game was on Universal Sports that Comcast never updated its guide and in fact the game was joined about 2 minutes in, like the local controller forgot they were supposed to switch the feed from the National Universal Sports feed to the local feed of the Rapids game until somebody yelled at them.
Re: TV for Sat? That reminds me. Jason, I was asked to pass on a message from Universal Sports. They'd like you to stop yelling at them. They've got sensitive feelings.
