    then who at LB??

Orozco (SP??), Pearce, or perhaps we should put another CB who hasnt regularly played with the A-team with Marshall and put Boca out wide??

as much as i feel uncomfortable with Bornstein, we didnt have much of a better option

They saved themselves here in the last 10 minutes...the give up by Bornstein was devastating but they came right back.

I look for them to tack on in the 2nd half. Defense has to improve a little, plus a few more 50/50 balls would be nice.

Jozy/Davies causing all kinds of trouble, great to see.

Bocanegra was the worst.....are you mad?

I mean he wasnt great but Spector and Bornstein were an embarrassment to our country. Dolo needs in at halftime

I don't think he should be fired now. I don't know why he was hired in the first place? Why didn't we get a top-flight coach rather than hire the interim guy? From my perspective, the team is his until after this World Cup and unless the result is beyond awesome good, I think we should bring in someone else for 2014.

has dolo played much recently?? he's been away from the starting lineup for some time with injury and i wasnt overly impressed with his performances since returning.

i will state that despite what i just typed i would have started Dolo over Born as well

No, those early whistles against Marshall has him backing up and giving space up too easy. He is on par with the rest of the D.

I thought we played a fairly decent half. Oddly enough, I thought Dempsey and Jozy were having subpar games until the goals. I'd like to see Holden come on for Jozy around 60-70 min mark and push Demps up top.

Bornstein is suspect (i'd rather see frankie out there). Boca doesn't look good. Marshall looks pretty good and Spector looks so-so.

Bradley and Feilhaber mid-field pairing is a double edged sword. Damn, they look really good offensively, but we have left a lot of space in the middle defensively.

wasn't picking on you sorry....Just thinking out loud...Since we have not taken much care of the ball, i hope we don't give El Salvador too many chances by backing down from them too much..It would help to haver Clark out there to help keep a balance witht hte lead (o and D) Why is he not on the bench?

I am just glad Ching is not playing. We need someone who can score if we are going to give up the first goal every game.

Excuse me but you put an 11-year Buindesliga Veteran at RB...and than you put Spector who plays LB for WEST HAM at LB. This is not Bob's choice it was the Agenda of USSF to get as many MLS players in the Lineup as possible. Bobs just a muppet, I mean does anybody really think Bob wants to continue to play Bornstein,Ching,Casey, etc. when they do nothing....................hell no but Bob has to becuase of USSF's agenda to get as much MLS players on the feild to showcase our League.

He's still starting for Hannover. Apparently he had a rough first game or so but has started to round back into form. Our local H 96 supporter over in YA thinks his hold on the starting position is vulnerable, though.

I f'in love that "men can take anything" commercial.

Bornstein doesn't really look all that bad, outside of that botched clearance, but that blame should go on the other defenders, because I don't really think he had another choice in his play.

Kick it out of bounds? At least don't kick it in the air into your own box. That's just a really silly mistake.

Ok maybe but when has Bornstein ever really looked good for the Nats? LB is just our weak spot and its going to hurt us over and over. Its definitely the #1 thing that needs to be addressed before SA.

Ching contingent is definitely struggling trying to find a justification to put his tool box of mediocrity in instead of the combo of Jozy/Davies. After tonight, hopefully he can be put out to pasture as a starting option for good.
