im getting some as well, in the new AG soleplate made for artificial grass (which i play on) now i havn't heard any reviews, but my guess is that they are sort of like the new super ligeras....lighter than legends, no lace cover. i dont think they are k leather, but should still be good boots.
same thing i am hoping for really, im gonna go check them out at the local store, hopefully they have my size and ill let you know how they are later tonight.. i tried on the legend 3s and they just didnt feel the same as my 2s, so i hope this is different.
for those that have superflys, do they run wider or more narrow than the previous vapor models? And should I go with half a size down from my vapor iv size?
well i was a size 9 in vapor iv and they fit perfect, i bought an 8.5 in vapor v and they fit perfect aswell. i was an 8.5 in vapor iv sl. so im guessing i should buy a 8 in superfly ? hope this helped a bit.. i too was wondering that.
I'd read the numerous posts about people recieving the full retail for the SL's in vouchers (even if they'd paid sale prices), but from what I can remember the majority of posters were in the states and wasn't sure if Nike UK dealt in the same manner. I also wanted to keep my options open - if offered an exchange, I wasn't limited to just Nike boots. I also initially contacted Nike to see if I could send the boots directly to them, this was there response.. "Thank you for your recent email, I was concerned to hear of your dissatisfaction with one of our products. Nike has made arrangements with the shops that sell our products to accept returns of Nike products with material or workmanship flaws. We suggest, therefore, that in the first instance you contact the retailer from whom you bought the product. If you have tried this already or if it is not possible for whatever reason, you can send certain products directly back to Nike for inspection" The store still has the boots, I asked for them back as soon as he mentioned that I may not get a refund/exchange, I wanted to take the matter up with Nike directly. However 'captain moron' said that the store has a returns policy which allows them to keep any returned product for upto 28 days. It's an online store about 200 miles away so I can only email/phone which is pretty frustrating. Basically I've got to wait for a Nike rep to go to the store and check the boots out in person (BTW the Nike Rep sounds like he has a p r e t t y cushdy job) As for the tiempo Lite's, they look bang tidy. I'm torn between those and some Black/Volt Legends II's. The bright green mouldies are a right touch!
just ordered my vapor v orange/abyss/silver with my voucher. so mad that nike's 20% discount code ended!
If im a 10.5 in my Nike Total90 Strike II L-FG what would i need for Nike Mercurial Vapor IV FG ??? please respond =D
Benvolio, How can the store "hold returned merchandise for 28 days" if they didn't allow you to return them? I call BS. If you didn't get your money back, then I'd say raise hell on getting your product back. If you go directly to the head manager, I'm sure an angry customer will get his/her attention, or ask to write to their upper management. No matter what, thats 28 days that you cannot use the product you paid for. When I worked in retail, an angry, stupid customer was still always right hah.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oa9xN5bHNVE"]YouTube - Mercurial Vapor V Custom Black Citron Red[/ame] these came out sweet.
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-NIKE-MERCUR...m4a9a578428&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ht_500wt_997 what exactly are those...some crazy japanese colorway or are they a scam
The soleplate that holds the four rear studs on my Citron IV's is separating from the upper slightly. Not really bad, but enough for me to notice it. Has anyone else had this problem? Fakes.
yea it has to be a scam...but i hate how i cant warn all those other people bidding on these...theres also a bunch of talaria IIIs listed as "vapors" and theyre selling for lika 100+ because people think theyre vapors
i picked up a pair of the classic lites today in white. i like the boot so far, got the same size as my legend II. Feel a bit stiff, but they were starting to soften up during my 30 minute kick around. The studs are FG, but they are definitely shorter than the legends. Matter of fact, when i had legend 3 on one foot and lites on the other i was standing lopsided. But I would recommend checking them out, seem like a good alternative. ill post some pictures tomorrow probably
They're keeping the boots until the Nike rep is able to inspect them in person, then they'll decide whether i'll get a refund/exchange. Basically they're saying it's out've they're hands now and upto the rep. If it's bad news then i'll go straight to Nike, until then i'll just have to rock the AZT90 III's!!
yeah they pretty much are the same as normal ones but its a different material on the body of the boot so it's lighter the the store bought ones and i have a soleplate with firm ground molded plastic studs and i can put medal studs in to. they have my name on the side also. i will take more pics later this week.
Hey Guys, Can someone assist with clarification regarding the Nike with the AG soleplate. What is the difference between the Classic Tiempo Lite AG & the Mystic 3 AG? I have been able to locate the mystic no problem ..but other than the soccer.com site ..I can't find anything ..and I would like to be able to walk in to store put them on see how they feel and whether I need sizing up or down. There is a price difference ..around $30 USD ...but if there is not much difference in comfort -support etc ..then I might just pick up the Mystic. Cheers
Ronnie is leather is on the Classics and seems to be better than the leather thats on the mystics also I think the classics are lighter ,and look better. If it were me I'd go with the classics
