I have nothing against Mexican people/Mexico, just the type of football down there. I cringe at the idea of divers and whiners on the pitch, and spit or bags of urine being thrown from the stands. Every time a Mexican team/Seleccion Mexicana comes to Chicago, it's the same, TIRED story: Substandard football, and inappropriate reactions from the fans in the stands. And this is what I forecast to occur once Chivas arrives in MLS. The net result is that MLS, and American soccer, will together be lessened as a result. Cheers!

Yes, Khan, once again you're right. Most of our undocumented Mexican brothers come from the rural areas and their educational (cultural) level is almost zero... Our civility in Mexico is still that of a third-world social environment. This is why there are fences at all soccer stadia. Only in the U.S. (or some European venues) you can have the people without barriers to the playing field...

As a matter of fact, I am firmly convinced Chivas USA will be the first MLS club to go through an entire season undefeated. Well as a nation I really have no respect for all of the illegal immigrants....but that's a whole different story. As a soccer team, well I just have to remind you again about June 17, 2002. FIFA World Cup 2002, USA 2 : Mexico 0. Enough said. Right now, as a Wizards fan, my three least favorite teams are LA, San Jose and Chicago, with LA probably being the least favorite of all. But Chivas USA will be my new least-favorite team because of their arrogant attitudes, because I really dislike Vergera, and because I don't think setting up Mexican teams in MLS is good for US soccer at all. If this is supposed to be an attempt to increase awareness of Hispanic-Americans for our NT and MLS as well, we shouldn't need a *#*#*#*#*#*#*#*# team in MLS to do so. I really really hope this doesn't happen because it's not good for the leauge. But if it does, I'm gonna root like hell against the San Diego/Houston Goats.

I don't have anything against Chivas YET, but I am going by experience. I NEVER liked Ruiz, or Hernandez. Also, any time the Wizards have played a game against a Mexican team, every hispanic person within 200 miles comes to watch. That would be great because it brings up attendence, but all of the 1 game a year fans that I've run into have been rude! One kid stole my seat, so when I came back, I explained in English (I'd heard him speaking English when I walked back) and he acted like he didn't understand. so I used my pea brain of Spanish and asked him to move because it was my seat. I even brought out my ticket. I know what I said made sense, but he just looked at me, and turned back to the game. Also... I'm kinda sick of being hit on by the drunk ones. UGH! it's gross!
