Glenn Davis has a terrific article today on what the Dynamo need to do to increase core support for the team. I've been thinking about this from the national TV level as there has been much hand-wringing about how the EPL is outdrawing MLS on ESPN2. Personally, I'm not surprised about this at all. Who can blame soccer fans for wanting to tune in and see some of the best players and teams in the world. I may get worried when crap EPL games outdraw MLS games, but really, who can resist watching Chelsea or Man Utd? That said, Davis makes some fundemental points about how the Dynamo can/will make a bigger impact on the Houston sporting scene. It should surprise no one that signing a talented yound Mexican is a key part of that.
