nobody offended me. I just have an overly confrontational style of writing about football at times. Frustrated player that's lost his pace and his geeky devotion to football trivia.

    sorry.

(p.s. who decided it was called the river end? - bit boring...?

    howbout 'The Snake Pit'

Dude, if your goal is to not offend people with aggressive writing style, then saying the river end is a bit boring is probably not the way to go.

my goal is unclear. but not offending people is not a priority, clearly.

I'll try to be more offensive towards rival supporters groups in future and save my more mild mannered responses to u, ok?

so is anyone joining me in 'the snake pit', or is it the romantically titled "River End supporters section, front tier, rows A-T". ...? well... go on, offend me...

Your Mother Was a Hamster and Your Father Smelt of Elderberries!

Have you heard of the Stretford End, The North Bank, The Holte End, or the Spion Kop? None of those names are fancy or exciting, but they're legendary because of how vocal they are in their support. Let us make it special, not some cheesy naming gimmick. Calling it the snake pit sounds like a minor league baseball PR stunt.

my mother's haircut is hamster. well it was. she's buried under my patio now.

your place names are all named after something like a road, not a generic geographical feature - oh look, what's that? its eeeehhhhhh?? ...a river, I think or some sort of water type thing. So this must be the water end then? yeah, that's right.

Welcome to the river/water end!! grrrr!! it was designed by the same architect as the red bull arena! red bull arena!! red bull aaaaaarrreeeeeennnnaaa!!

    yeah! that'll show 'em.

-do u want to join my new supporters group? they're called 'The Sons of Soccer', because they're mainly male, and they like soccer. I think it really communicates something.

It was named that before we had a name or colors...someone suggested it, and it stuck. Live with it.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post such a request so forgive me.

I was born and raised in the Philly area, currently living in Tokyo Japan. I'm planning on supporting the Union from 7000 miles away (I have a SlingBox set up in my familys' house so I should be able to catch games when they're aired), and to that end I'm hoping to procure an SOB scarf or two when they get produced.

I'd rather be more productive than just offer to PayPal the cash, so if any of you guys are scarf collectors, I'd be up for trading one from the main supporter group for FC Tokyo (which is my team over here). I'd also be up for trading shirts but I doubt as many people would be into that sorta thing. Anyone interested can drop me a PM or email (my username at gmail dot com).

    Thanks!
