Berba, Vidic and Evra have had good games. Rooney has some good moments mixed with some poor ones. Evans has gone awol on occasions trying to dispossess Rodallega. Scholes is going to get red-carded. The rest have been ordinary.

Overall better performance than Burnley but not good either.

Wow. ESPN went and found 2 English people (1 male, 1 female) for their half time show.

Utd looks a lot better. Usually we look like we're getting beat to pieces when we play Wigan. That isn't happening today.

We'll score. We've have like 8 chance so far.

I'd rather have Scholes red-carded than seeing Carrick doing absolutely nothing again.

What do you guys think about Neville? I think he was lucky not to see a yellow.

Its Georgie Bingham who used to be on Sky Sports News and Robbie Mustoe used to play for middlesbrough. Not very good tbh.

it is sure nice to have Vidic back there. i think it makes Foster a bit more relaxed.

i really want Berbatov to score... but i'll take any goal (early on) at this point. we surely will win. one of these breakthroughs have to go our way.

That is Georgie Bingham. She is the anchor for ESPN's channel in Britain.

    Can Fabio please come on?

Everytime someone comes close to Neville, i get worried.

Maybe Gibson on for Scholes as well.

I can see Giggs coming on for Scholes in the second.

Nah, you just can't see the football clearly through all your doom and gloom. If Bramble hadn't blocked Fletcher's chance on the line or brilliantly tackled Berbatov at the last minute, if Kirkland hadn't made 2 great saves from Rooney, your story would be different.

We've been ok, and later in the half Wigan were good as well. It's a good match.

I think Scholes has made a big difference linking our play in CM compared to mid-week without him. We are moving the ball well from our third through the middle third into their third because of him. I agree he is a worry on a yellow.

I also agree that they are moving through CM far too easily because Scholes is not running. Although Fletch has to also take some responsibility there because that is his main job. At least Schole's passing is at its usual level, whilst Fletch has given the ball away frequently. This CM is at least effective in attack.

But these CM problems we have just wont go away. We just cant get a combination happening where we have decent passing / linkage and also be decent defensively.

Backline much better with Vida in it. Foster also doing well. Berba has done well this half with better movement.

Does espn have a channel in Britain? Shows how much I know...I guess espn isn't going to do someone like Ray Hudson to liven things up. Probably a good thing.

btw, what happened to the 7:30 telecast this morning? Wasn't on Setanta and wasn't on espn. I guess I should meander over to the tv news section to find out.

chances on either end. Evra with a great interception to save our ass. Fletcher needs to step up.

nani needs to improve his corner delivery.

we continue to look shaky defending setpieces.

and that should have been a pen.

I'd like to see Giggs on for Scholes, Fabio on for Neville and Welbeck for Nani.

    Soon.
