yeah if they really had been manufactured in 06, they would've had time to make E8 laser 2's also... Anyone with Abyss V's having the white part like crack apart so theres little black lines in between the white?

Fairplay to you sir, I agree with your points to an extent; defenders generally make the most tackle's during a game and they're required to use their feet with a greater risk of physical contact. Yet, how are we to know that the soleplate of some SL's is going to offer less protection than the soleplate of a pair of adipures. Those boots specialising in protection (Concave, Under Armour) tend to sacrifice weight, touch, flexibility and aesthetic values, all of which are particularly valueable especially to us vain folk!!

On the other hand we do play in different continents, I have never had the opportunity to play in the States, but friends who have had that opportunity believe the game isn't quite as physical the English leagues. This may give clearer insight into our differing opinions. In the games that I play in England, it is very rare for a centre forward to play 90 minutes without taking a fair few hits to the feet. I agree, there is the cliche that forwards can't tackle, but, If a forward makes a horrendous tackle on a defender you can guarentee that the defender will return the 'favor' at some point - along with numerous other strong tackles for the rest of the game.

I'd also go onto suggest that any physical contact between the two would result in greater damage to the forward (not necessarily relevant to boots but look at Eduardo's injury, how often do you see forwards making tackles as hard and late as defenders potentially can) (exclude Wayne Rooney from the previous statement). I believe defenders make harder + greater amounts of tackles on forwards than forwards do on defenders, which is why I dont agree with the suggestion that defenders need greater protection than forwards.

I broke metatarsals wearing Umbro Speciallis and some Pred Pulse's, I havent had an injury to my feet to that extent whilst wearing MV's. Maybe its just luck (touch wood)....

and also I was talking to the owner of a soccer store and he told me he's been hearing alot of hype from nike reps that the Vapor VI's will be "out of this world" can anyone add to this? and I saw in his catalog that there will be White/Black/Gold Legend III's they looked like the exact same colorway as the II's. They looked incredible.
