yea it cant be possilbe i mean the tournament wasnt til 08 so the boots were manufactured 2 years in advance
yeah if they really had been manufactured in 06, they would've had time to make E8 laser 2's also... Anyone with Abyss V's having the white part like crack apart so theres little black lines in between the white?
I'll probably just go to the store and try them on first to see how they feel. Thanks everyone who helped me
Fairplay to you sir, I agree with your points to an extent; defenders generally make the most tackle's during a game and they're required to use their feet with a greater risk of physical contact. Yet, how are we to know that the soleplate of some SL's is going to offer less protection than the soleplate of a pair of adipures. Those boots specialising in protection (Concave, Under Armour) tend to sacrifice weight, touch, flexibility and aesthetic values, all of which are particularly valueable especially to us vain folk!! On the other hand we do play in different continents, I have never had the opportunity to play in the States, but friends who have had that opportunity believe the game isn't quite as physical the English leagues. This may give clearer insight into our differing opinions. In the games that I play in England, it is very rare for a centre forward to play 90 minutes without taking a fair few hits to the feet. I agree, there is the cliche that forwards can't tackle, but, If a forward makes a horrendous tackle on a defender you can guarentee that the defender will return the 'favor' at some point - along with numerous other strong tackles for the rest of the game. I'd also go onto suggest that any physical contact between the two would result in greater damage to the forward (not necessarily relevant to boots but look at Eduardo's injury, how often do you see forwards making tackles as hard and late as defenders potentially can) (exclude Wayne Rooney from the previous statement). I believe defenders make harder + greater amounts of tackles on forwards than forwards do on defenders, which is why I dont agree with the suggestion that defenders need greater protection than forwards. I broke metatarsals wearing Umbro Speciallis and some Pred Pulse's, I havent had an injury to my feet to that extent whilst wearing MV's. Maybe its just luck (touch wood)....
I might be totally off the ball here but has anyone got anymore info on the New Nike Tiempo Premiers other than the picture in the catalogue? Thanks
Quick question - now i know u clean marks of vapors with nail polish remover. BUT with the new Vs being half glossy and half matt finish is the nail polish remover safe to use on both sides???
Have you tried the Magic eraser thing from DR. Clean works wonders. And can to tell me the sizing of the superflies compared to vapor III's or any other shoe you have. Im really considering gettin them
They are size 9, and all my other boots are size 9 - AdiPure 1s, Legend 2s, Predator Mania and Absolutes, F50s, F50+. Do u have a link for that eraser thing??
Here it is http://www.mrclean.com/en_US/magic-eraser.do its around 4 bucks for a pack of two but it does wonders especially with synthetic cleats. you can find it a grocery stores
Cheers mate, found the UK equivalent and it worked a treat. got all the scuffs straight off and look good as new again. This is the link for what i got. http://www.jmldirect.com/Doktor-Power-Magic-Eraser-PD0516/
i used the mr clean solely to get off a huge scuff off my vapor IIIs and it didnt come off..nail polish remover didnt work either...so i gave up on getting the scuff off but the magic eraser cleaned everything else perfect
this happend to me too but i realized it was that the paint was already scratched off. was it clear scuff?
i personally hate how nikes making their players wear the black boots...i like em and all but id like some diversity
THESE LOOK SLICK!!!! MUCH BETTER THAN MOST IMAGES IVE SEEN OF THE SHOE! http://www.soccer.com/ViewProductImages.process?Product_Id=508236&Image=55361
lets say nike and eurosport are all out of superflies in my size.. they will restock in those colorways right? i dont want the blue mist ones id prefer the black
and also I was talking to the owner of a soccer store and he told me he's been hearing alot of hype from nike reps that the Vapor VI's will be "out of this world" can anyone add to this? and I saw in his catalog that there will be White/Black/Gold Legend III's they looked like the exact same colorway as the II's. They looked incredible.
i dunno about the vapor VIs...but there is still rumors of the "crazy new vapor" made just for the world cup 2010 that are gonna be better than then superflies..which doesnt make sense right..the only thing better would be mercurial carbon sl?
